A typical day felt like walking on eggshells, with staff hesitant to speak openly. I learned how to tolerate poor leadership and survive in a low-morale environment. Management lacked professionalism, communication skills, and basic people skills, which made even simple tasks frustrating. The workplace culture didn’t reward effort or initiative, so motivation was consistently low. The hardest part of the job was dealing with leadership and the negative atmosphere. The only enjoyable part was the camaraderie between coworkers who supported each other just to get through the day.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Meeting new people the client was amazing and nice

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Doing scort cuts within the time frame I like to do a descent job to make clients happy 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Ok there are good people it's just the jobs and timeframe it's stressful 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Full on constantly driving around then doing repair

Loved the work that I did however the travel to and from work proved very taxing.

Many of the people were fantastic, however as with most companies, there are some bad apples who try and make life difficult.

I had a great time developing database and Crystal Report skills and absolutely loved the work and learning process.

I enjoyed working at Simonds Homes. The only negatives were the lack of flexibility with your hours, as you were required to work both days of the weekend, EVERY weekend. Job security was not great as it turns out we all had our jobs put on hold when COVID hit never to be contacted since. 

Simonds is an excellent company to work for , very fast pace but will do anything to get a sale over the line for you , I believe they where number builder when I was working for them and I still are !

Have a culture of unrealistic timelines for all trades.
Supervisors are okay in some areas.
Organisationally they are quite bad, there is a lack of communication and playing the blame game when it hits the fan.

A productive workplace with great learning opportunities. Allowed me to develop immensley by experiencing different working environments i.e. worked at the forefront of sales and also within head office.

I LOVED MY POSITIONG AT SIMONDS HOMES .

SENIOR MANAGEMENT WERE WONDERFUL.
THE MOST ENJOYABLE PART ABOUT MY JOB WAS THE .EXCITEMENT ON THE CLIENTS FACES WHEN IT WAS TIME FOR THEM TO MOVE INTO THERE NEW HOME.

Simonds Homes was a good place to work. The management and staff are friendly/approachable. I would have liked to stay longer, however, I require a few more working hours. I enjoyed the fact, that I took initiative and I wanted to learn more.

Simonds provides a great benchmark to start a career in the design industry. Limited opportunites to advance in the role which is the reason I saught employment elsewhere
