In a typical day I can go from simple wound dressings to PICC dressings,VACC dressings and a unit of Platelets to be given and a cannulla to be inserted.I have learned all the different packages that are out there for different client needs.The working culture is supportive and keeping your skills updated.The hardest part of the job is the driving in traffic and roadworks.Most enjoyable is our clients,getting to know them and their families

Professional, caring and friendly workmates. Understanding and helpul management. Good hours, and can manage work/life balance. Best part of the job is being fully responsible for your client base and time management, able to be very independent and reliant on your own initiative. Hardest part of the job is that you're on working on your own out on the road and so not always with your work mates.

Being on front line we see truths and they do not listen to our feedback.
Things do not get done for months.
My hard work reviews don't get noticed. And most homes have too large service areas fir the time. Overworked unappreciated sorry bad management gone way too big. Oh and give each employee a company car for gods sake we are out of pocket.

Great management and teams to work with, if they increase salary and hours, i will go back and work with them. Its alway part time job with less pay. I would always recomment them to those who just need to be on their feet with no high salary expectation.

Work remotely, with limited supervision and support; position is manageable and clients are diverse and interesting. Case Management practices are valued within the organisation.

Non of the work I did seemed to be good enough although when I looked at the previous work done by me predecessor it was very similar. Seemed to be a management team that played favourites.

Working in the Community to assist the elderly and infirm to stay in their homes. I had a variety of clients to attend to on a daily basis. But again the driving to each often inhibited time spent with the client.

Try another place to work . The clients were nice the other staff were horrible. Try to work there putting 100 percent in and get nothing but complaints,nit picking and bullying from the office staff.

Iconic brand. Committed and caring staff. Now merged with RSL CARE  QLD. Can't comment on current status as whole leadership tam has changed and it is run out of QLD.

Dealing with clients is the best part of the job.  The job is easy to do.  Management very approachable and concerned with safety of employees and clients.
