The products are beautifully made with high quality craftsmanship and the customer’s were great to meet and serve, it was the High light of the day and that’s the only great things I can say about Rodd and Gunn. 
When I did start I thought this would be the dream job and I could see myself working for this company for a long time but I as time went on and seeing the work environment becoming uncomfortable and there were no support network! So it was hard to know who to trust or run to when you’re in need of help in the work place. I realise then this wasn’t for me, it was obvious I didn’t fit in and not long I was unemployed! But it was a blessing in disguise to have lost the job it wasn’t worth working there!!!


company does recruitment drives then employs to many people so everyone only get 1/2 shifts a week and if cant prove themselves straight away get 0 hours 0 shifts
I saw the management get treated terrible forced to move store location even if don't want to move location they are forced to move or loss job. seen good managers being fired because impossible targets are not being achieved, pay very poor,

3 months without support
Team members friendly and willing to perform well , but one was searching for ways to undermine my decisions 
based on store performance I used my skills to uplift sales which were not acknowledged 
It’s embarrassing to see such actions  as it reflects poorly on the management and mediocrity of the people in upper management
Fired by a person I did not even know , so they could continue the mediocrity 



Rodd and Gunn has the most toxic work environment I’ve ever encountered. Between most of the managers and the regional manager, they were lazy and unhelpful, malicious and unsupportive, abusive and down-right mean. I would never in a million years recommend for someone to work there. The high turnover of staff should’ve been indicative of the kind of work place I was dealing with.

Beautiful products and great discounts for staffs. 

Terrible management, work environment was toxic
And unnecessary stress from management and those working above.

I had a great experience working with Rodd & Gunn. The staff members were more like friends. The product quality is phenomenon. 
 
I have developed my people's skills with high quality.

It was great to work at the airport as I got the chance to meet and greet international people.

Worked in djs and myer concession in  Sydney s northwest . 
 I’d have to say it was One of the best casual positions I’ve ever had , supportive upper management ,ongoing   seasonal  product training , generous staff  discounts  .
Only downside was horrendous loads of O.C.D folding ,





The management and culture at Rodd & Gunn is the best aspect of this job. I vastly developed my skills and knowledge, while having fun in a relaxed environment. I highly recommend working for Rodd & Gunn.

Only interested in meeting sales targets, not interested in long term strategy or engagement of their workforce. High turnover of staff due to low morale and lack of planning or investment in business basics

It’s a pleasure to be a part of a positive supportive team. They train you listen to you and value you.
Being at 80 year old company they have made life very rewarding for staff with incentives and communication.
