I have gained better communication skills, and now have experienced conflict resolution.I have learned how to work as part of a team and how everyone has their specific jobs but ultimately it all comes down to team work.  The management were approachable and friendly and my co-workers were pleasant and polite.  The hardest part was dealing with difficult customers and knowing the right course of action to take and not to get distressed. I enjoyed serving the customers,especially the elderly, and seeing the happiness on their faces when they purchased something and the friendliness they showed to myself.

While working with the casuals and assistant manager was a good experience, management overall was completely insane. Rude, demanding and impatient manager who expected perfect results only a week into the job. The owner and area manager are sneaky and nasty people. Never once received a pay slip, even after asking multiple times 
and supplying an alternative email address. The customers were friendly but overall the experience made me quit after a month, and it seems I’m not the only one...

Work days usually went really slow, the tasks were repetitive and the manager was very selfish, the casuals and supervisors on the other hand were very nice and willing to help, at times i felt like i kept the shop afloat becuase the other workers slacked off most of the time and i kept ontop of all the work that had to be done.

Working at rave discounts was not always a good working environment but it defiantly taught me to make the best of every situation and how to change something into a positive outcome. Working with this company and in link with retail cert III training showed me that working hard always pays off.

Hi , I have worked for this company for nearly 3 years. The management is'nt very good at dealing with things around the store . It has major O.H.S problems they do nothing about. I really would like a new job and I am looking for reception work .

Working at Rave Discounts has been a great opportunity to learn and grow as a retail working. I’ve developed new skills that I didn’t think you could get, the interactions I’ve had with coworkers and customers has also developed my customer service skills.

I enjoyed the growth as a manager of a store. The company was a very busy company. If I was trained right from the beginning I feel like I would've done a better job as a manager.

Its a really awesome workplace to work at and I have loved working there. There is always a reason to laugh and the work is fast-paced and exciting every shift

Good place to work at, friendly staff, good management, great experience, good training, recieve a full traineeship in retail that you can use later on in life.

not the best pay, but just enough to survive on. :)
