All my colleagues here are very friendly, many different people, a whole range of ages and nationalities, the people working here are always friendly and I have yet to meet someone with even a slight attitude. In the breakroom unfortunately you can only pay by card which is a bit annoying but it is not at all the end of the world, it also seems like there aren't enough keys for all the cleaners here and that's a bit annoying since of course we need those to get into cleaners closets. The uniforms provided and not only cleaner ones are made to fit the roles of the person wearing them, since we're in the sun most the day we get those round hats not sure what to call them but they've saved me from a lot of sun burn I imagine, though when it comes to the provided shorts you just have to hope yours comes with pockets since not all of them do.

My position in food and beverage was easy, although repetitive. By the end of the season, I was able to do certain tasks well. If you weren't asked to complete a task at the start of the season, you wouldn't be given the necessary instructions to complete the task e.g. cleaning floors, working in certain areas.
I found that after the school holidays, it would always be the same people working every weekend (with a few changes). As I was one of those people, I wonder if it was favouritism. We also didn't get a break unless we worked six hours, even though we were legally allowed to.
Something that bothered me was the lack of discipline around certain things. There were a couple of policies that we were required to follow, and there was supposed to be some kind of discipline if they were not followed. I noticed other workers not following these policies, and I don't think there were any consequences.

It is a very fun and interactive place to work although the pay and the working hours per week is very unstable. The management of the department is really bias and if you do not suck up to the management you don't get any hours. Some employees work much less then others and the same group of employees get long hours on Sundays. There is no consistency in the rosters due to the extreme biasness in the admissions department. I was fortunate to get "okay" hours but at times its just the same people. Also the same people who always get long shifts consistently are never placed in places which are boring to work in such as carpark. There is also lots of pay issues in which almost all employees are underpaid and delays are the norm in receiving what you are owed aswell as HR manager never responding to emails and enquiries.

The people you work with make the job so much more worth it!

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The most stressful part about working at Raging is the consistant reminder and thought of liability if something does happen. Theres no space for error and if there is, someone may be hurt, drown or close to death.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
It is nothing but fun and enoyable

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
0845- Arrive and get down to your allocated area so you can get a good start position.
0915- Shift Starts and perform inservice tasks
1000- Park Opens
1045- First rotation
Everyone will rotate and push eachother along the rotation card to different positions until you are on break. 
Close- Pack up
15 after close- Clock out

* Cleaning, walking around the park, assisting customers etc.
* I learned that it's not your fault if a situation is unstable. Being understaffed and given impossible tasks, made the environment challenging. 
* It felt like you were always being watched, if you breathe, stood still for a second, you would get into trouble. Even if you worked really hard, it wasn't appreciated. 
*Hardest part was being understaffed, having to be everywhere at once because of that. Working in unsafe conditions during a fire season when the park should not have been open. 


Awful experience. Management is awful, it took so much emailing back and forth to get anything done, and I still barely got to work. Expect over 7 hour shifts of either standing around or heavy lifting. They give you a few hours of training (walking around the park), than expect you to know what to do all by yourself, but if you make a tiny mistake, they’ll lecture you about how you are doing everything wrong. The only good thing was making friends, yet you always have to work alone. My worst job experience ever, I dreaded going to my shifts, and sometimes cried after my shifts from the stress.

What is the best part of working at the company?
The people, long hours if wanted, fun environment, working outside.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Can get very busy on hot days, phyically straining on hot days 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Fun, fast paced, easy going, exciting

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Come in at 6am, get park ready for opening, 10am onwards attend to park with guests inside

I enjoyed working here since you are able to meet alot of people and make friends. Seasonal work is good as well and I would recommend for people looking for their first job, rates are not too bad  and it is a large company. 
My shifts would get cut alot during the end of the peak season (feb to april), which was inconvenient as I had to travel 30 minutes to get there. If you live close by that wouldn't be as much of a problem though.

The management in Admissions and Retail were very unorganised and unreliable. Management was very really bias to who they would give shifts too, if you weren’t in they’re good books you would hardly get any. The pay was terrible and the behaviour towards employees were unprofessional. If you want to hate your life, apply here! 

It’s really good for teens looking for their first job because it’s simple and seasonal over the school year break. In this job, you'll develop some social skills and get better at interacting with others and have a great first taste of how the workforce works
