Very long hours worked but within the best team environment the days were productive and interesting.
The Management team can only be described as fantastic in every aspect of the work.
The work was hard and this was made harder for all staff as at an average air temperature of 40 deg the work was in a furnace aisle exceeding temperatures of 60 degs and all employees were required to wear full respirators.
The most satisfying part of the job was the team work involved to make the work happen and to complete the scope with zero safety incidents.

My time at NDY was both challenging and memorable in a good way. Nothing to say except great things about the people I worked with and the reception I received as I challenged audiences across the world with Client Centricity and news ways of working. I always felt supported by the leadership and management. as implementing change was a pleasure but not without some resistance as usual.  

Once the dust settles from the recent takeover NDY will continue to be a great company to work for if you are a young engineer looking for awesome career challenges, iconic projects and career development.

In all seriousness, the company is top-heavy, poorly run, has 40 or so different sub-companies competing against each other for work and no emphasis on professional development or retaining junior to mid-level staff. It's a revolving door where they tell you all the right things to keep you long enough to make a profit, then dump you whenever the markets taking a turn.  

Fantastic, "no nonsense" work environment, great colleagues and inspiring workshop manager.
Being able to utilize skills and experience under progressive guidance.
Hardest part of the job, being sea sick on a diving vessel on a few ocean going deployments.
Would recommend this company to any serious technician/engineer.

Was a very good place to work, but now there are some changes due to the recent acquisition.  Management at this moment is quite confusing adapting to the changes. Workplace culture is applied. Career advancement is not always possible.

One of the best company's  that I have worked for ina long time. I have met new people who I now keep in touch with even though we are all from different parts of the states. The project managers  are very good people  and very fair with everyone  they know how to keep you up beat  if you start getting board. The harder you work the   more options are offered  to you to move up.

Generally a good steady employer but would like to see more benefits, specially as a casual employee when have spent some years with the company. Job security would be nice with added incentives to stay with the company. Considering trying to find a more reliable and secure employment.

No mentor/experienced staff to assist in development of skills
Discouraged innovation

Helpful to teach you the ropes but limited availability to upscale or take on more responsibility. Everyone seemed pigeonholed in their roles with no where to go. In my six months there everyone at my level had left for a different job.
