RNA Showgrounds

RNA covers employment at Music Festivals and I have had a blast at every job I've worked at. I've worked at festivals such as Stereo Sonic, Sound Wave and The Laneway Festival and all have been fun, professional and a joy to work at. The staff are great to deal with and work for and you get the opportunity to make new friends as well. I arrive at work at about 9am when we get debriefed on the work for the day and then we head to our nominated Bars. Work includes serving alcohol to patrons, re-stocking and cleaning. It's a long day, especially in summer but the shifts normally end at approximately 10pm. The hardest part of the job would be dealing with customers whom are just plain rude and/or arrogant but you get that everywhere anyway so you smile and serve them and they go back to the music.

They will change shifts without warning and not give you a reasonable explanation. An "Old Boys" club environment where you are not rewarded for a good job, only who you are good friends with. They treat staff poorly & expect you to be thankful for it. To many chiefs and other dependent managers and supervisors trying to tell staff of other departments what to do even when their own supervisors have told them to do something different. 

I worked at the RNA show grounds and i love working their was a lot of fun got, so much experience and meet a lot of new facers that i worked with .servicing a lot a beers behind the bar. the harders thing i found about working at the RNA was filling up the perspects up with wine beer an ice to make the drinks chilled for the night

During working here my responsibilities were cash handling, customer service and adapting to a fast paced environment . The work required team skills and the ability to work autonomously.

this company is great, the help you get when you get there in the beginning, is amazing.they help you, they train you, they guide you in the right direction, they are overall a great company to work for.

it was great, people are lovely, I loved learning my skills there, meeting new people and moving my dream forward. hospitality is my passion and I'm thankful I got the opportunity to learn from such great people.

always enjoy the eeka with plent to do and alot of people i meet. at night the fireworks are great and really light up the sky. its intresting meeting different people from different bacjrounds from all over.

A typical day we get yelled I believed we learned nothing management is terrible at Terrible work culture rescinding job offers ghosting and bad communication 

i was cleaning all the rooms and everything but then when they up graged there rooms i left as i was not getting many hours alfter that so im looking for full time employment
