Queensland Childcare Services is a company that is passionate in providing the Highest Quality Care and an environment that enhances all children's learning and wellbeing 
I am very fortunate to be in such a supportive team environment where I can actually say that I love going to work! 

If you want to work for a company that is soul sucking, high expectations with zero support, head office barking orders and demands and full of narcissistic tendencies then qccs is for you. Dont get me wrong, at centre level 9 times out of 10 you will have a great team behind you buy as soon as head office show themselves you will see their toxic tendencies and absolutely ridiculous demands. This is where you will see the reason for staff turnover. They are the worst human beings i have ever had the displeasure of meeting. So out of touch with what it is like working on the floor. They do not care about you at all they only care about money! The day i handed in my resignation was one of the happiest days of my life. Head office RUINED my joy and passion for ece. I am now employed as a sales assistant and will never return to childcare. Steer clear of head office! And dont be fooled by their fake niceness! 

If you have a passion for childcare, don’t work with QCCS. They drain the life out of you, treat you like absolute dirt and have no respect if your not working in the Head Office area. Area management continue to walk in, think their better then you, treat you like scum, continue to downgrade your hard work and never appreciate anything.

QCCS want to be running as exceeding and expect you to spend 24/7 ensuring your programming is on par with an exceeding expectation, but won’t support you or take on board the stress and overwork that needs to be done to run at “exceeding”.

If your not a friend or family member, there is no potential for growth in the company. End of year parties are just about head office and how amazing they are while the scum educators are left feeling like trash.

No on the job training as advertised.  All training for certificates are done at their head office at Shailer Park.  You have to travel there and are even expected to do unpaid training on your days off.  Job is advertised as Kitchenhand however you will be in charge of running the kitchen on your own and expected to uphold the responsibilities of a chef.  No support for this role as teachers are to remain with children at all times.  Lack of basic supplies such as paper towel and rubbish bags.  Lack of basic functional equipment, when you ask it takes months for management to organise.  In my 25 years of hospitality this is by far the worst kitchen that I've ever stepped foot in and the worst company I've ever worked for.

What a great company!  I have felt very supported in my role and there are so many people to reach out to should I need help with anything.  QCCS are a progressive and forward thinking Early Childhood Education provider and I was pleasantly surprised how long some of their team members have worked here.  The programs offered to children and families are amazing!  From healthy eating programs to STEM, Inter-generational Play and bush, beach and farm kindy.

I wish I knew what it was like when I first started with the company I wouldn't have applied for this job. I am looking at other areas to work in within childcare as I don't want to give up on this industry but this company is draining. You are over worked, under valued and you can't get help unless you seek it yourself.  Do not bring your own stuff because they will get claimed as centre property. Some co-workers are awesome to work with, other co-workers will do anything to get in with the management

Over worked, under valued, made to feel horrible, culture is horrendous, unrealistic expectations, I entered as a seasoned person with nearly 20 years in industry and they almost broke me. If you enjoy working with children and in this field. Avoid this company. Nothing they say is true on any platform. Oh and I'd you ask for help, your pushed out the door as incompetent.  High turn overs across whole company. 

After working for this company for 2 years. They have physically made me not want to work in childcare again. The treatment you receive from management and the way they speak to you is absolutely disgusting, to the point where myself and a fellow colleague had to seek outside assistance for workplace harassment. If you respect yourself and love the childcare industry, stay away from this company as you will end up hating everything that you love doing. 

Understaffed all the time and they are sneaky and once you leave they will try to rip you off make sure  u keep documents of everything. They took $200 out of my pay due to a course I had submitted before quitting and took it out of my pay without letting me know anyways! Would never recommend this company for employment or for anyone to send their children.

No support, understaffed, under-trained, gossiping huge issues, kids are not first priority daily cleaning tasks are. Ended up leaving after 2 months, extremely stressed, left with Hyperarousal anxiety that I never had before. This job just about killed my passion for teaching.
