I have finished my bachelor degree in accounting from Kings Owns Institute. 

This position really appeals to me because this is what I am doing right now and want to do. I have employed with Prince of Wales hospital as a food service assistant and EP migration as assistant accountant. In prince of Wales hospital position my responsibilities include Packing of in coming stores items in appropriate locations, Packaging & delivery of orders, Preparation of meal, food, salad, special diet items, Plating of meals & meal components and assembly of patient meal trays, Delivery of meal trolley & mid meals to ward & outlying areas and collecting of meal & mid meal trolleys, containers from wards & outlying areas, Cleaning & re-stocking of tray line & pantry areas, Collect information regarding patient consumption for mid & main meals, Communicate with nursing, allied health, food service staff, patient relatives & customers where as in EP migration my responsibilities include sorting mail according to the location and arranging the mails. As the company is expanding its business so I found myself involving in other stuff as well like budgeting for new branch and trained the new staff members. So I think with a little help in understanding the environment, I shall be able to do all the required tasks easily.

I am planning to relocate permanently and this job opportunity presents the sort of career I am looking for. The location, you have described in job advertisement, is kind of place I was planning to move.

What is the best part of working at the company?
if you are a bully you’ll have fun trying to get each other fired. It’s actually encouraged by management. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Bullying and zilch support as management and HR are aware and join in. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Bullies rule here. Apply at your own risk or if you yourself are a bully you’ll have fun trying to get each other fired. 
Steer clear of Anatomical Pathology Department. Managers have no control over adult babies attacking each other on a daily basis. Management and HR protect the bullies as it’s easier to replace one good employee than multiple atrocious employees on multiple levels 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Horrendous. Numerous people wanting to end it all because of certain people and management encourage it. You won’t have a single day where you are being bullied quite drastically or are a witness to others being bullied. Of course nobody says anything for fear of being next so don’t expect any support.

The experience of 3 years working in this hospital was very valuable. 
It's very demanding, interesting and challenging.
My boss is very smart and sensible, he trust me with his work and it was a joy to work with him. Learn a lot from him and this place. The work was different everyday and require a lot of thinking and proactivity.  it was interesting, satisfying and challenging. 

However due to cut in budget from the government after the election, some positions are cut. I can stay permanently in my job but there would not be much option for advancement. Also I would really like to further my career in the industrial area and pursue more study.

Would really love to work for a pharmaceutical company regardless of the starting point.

I've learned so many things during the clinical  placement at Prince of Wales hospital. The staff were being quite initiate to teach us from each area, so that we could be able to learn as much as we can. 

I was being allocated at peri-operative unit, and I have learned much about how to admit patient from they came to the hospital for a surgery, and how to discharge patient as they were been recovery. in addition, I am also being familiar with how to taking care the patients at bedsides, help them with their needs; using assessment tools to check their condition after the surgery; giving medication; dressing changed; taking cannula off, ect.

I had a great time with the staff there, they were well managed, well organized and being a really good paragon of team work.

What is the best part of working at the company?
None whatsoever, it's a terrible workplace, you'd expect better treatment of staff from a supposed mental health service.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Turning up and getting treated appallingly by senior, jealous, vindictive managers, who just want to cause trouble and make staff’s lives a misery

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Disgraceful, such a toxic, negative, blame culture.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Depressing and unsupported. Deliberately pushed to and beyond normal or acceptable limits. Gaslighting is commonplace, encouraging others to make complaints about each other.

A typical day for me is saying Good morning to all.  Jumping into work by checking mail, checking if any reports need to be typed.  I also attend workshops and up date my hand hygiene and other internal mandatory courses.  I make sure my work is completed by the end of the day.  Best part of job is working as part of a team and using my initiate.  Hardest part of job is being an eager to please person.  What I have learnt is accepting everyone for who they are and being professional to all.  I love workplace culture that is not too serious.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Absolutely awful time here, in the mental health service, not the main hospital. I wouldn't wish for my worst enemy to work there. Just awful. Bullying, harrasment it every where.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The managements vindictiveness and total lack of suport

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Disgraceful. Petty, blame culture, terrible.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Depressing, micro-managed, always have to watch your back and cover yourself.

Excellent communication between staff at all levels as well as management....all fair easy to talk to and  approach....always improving there staff learning continually improving. With on computer program as well as the latest techniques in patient handling and medical sides as well. Up to date training monthly along with regular training and meeting for staff development . Regular fire and evacuation training so all staff are up to date with procedures during in an emergency. 

During my employment with Prince of Wales Hospital I was employed in the Anatomical Pathology department where I was Medical Typist/Secretary transcribing Histopathology reports.  It was extremely interesting and gave me a sound basis of knowledge.

I then moved to Prince Henry Hospital as a Medical Secretary for two Cardiologists in a Private Practice.  My typical day would be to meet & greet patients, processing billing, arranging appointments, typing reports and letters.  

Both positions were extremely rewarding.

I loved working there. The management is fantastic and the cameradery second to none. Everyone I have come across at the hospital  is absolutely passionate about doing their absolute best for the patients. I loved working in neuro-rehabilitation and learned a lot from the more senior staff at the rehab gymn. It is a fantastic place to work!!!
