Pine Valley Flowers

I have learnt most of my experience in this job it's a fast-paced and competitive job but work with a good team. What lots of overtime during season and day and night shift was available and weekends. I also Drive a electric palette Jack and unloaded and loaded trucks. Picking and packing stacking palettes according to delivery and also wrapping pallets. Also have learned to work in a cold room and freezer room environment and to be on my feet for a long period of time. 

Arrived at my first store by 7am, took photos of the flower display, checked stock on display removed any stock that wasn't "would I buy it" standards Wrote up store credits.  Filled the display with fresh flowers and sent photos through to the Office.
I learnt a lot about fresh flowers and yes way to display them to maximise sales.
The hardest part of the job was being Casual. Never knowing what hours you were going to work each week.

What is the best part of working at the company?
The people one. And the experience I got and to know about flowers. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Doing other peoples work. Nit know what time you were going to finish.  

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
It’s ok but a bit Catty no loyalty for the workers

I enjoyed my time working with Pine Valley Flowers, the work environment was fun, fast paced, very productive and the staff, supervisors and managers and very friendly and supportive. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to work in picking and packing field.

Enjoyable work. Making flower arrangements and bouquets. Fast pace but doable. Just have to work 12 hrs during peak seasons like mother's day, valentine's day and xmas day.

 The only con is that there's not enough hours being offered after a busy season. 






Pine Valley is a growing company that needs to employ more permanent and not so many casual staff but cannot due to the nature of the product as the turn over is high as they work on a tight budget

Not enough support from the management team. Driving around with the forklift was the most exciting part of the job. You need to be able to rely on the team your working with.

If you like being treating like a slave with no brain this is the perfect place for you. They are literally slavedrivers who will at the drop of a hat for looking at somebody wrong

I'm trying to get work there again keep applying hopefully something comes up . Seasonal work have to get in when you can , good people , great place . 

Working Hard for a team goal in the end, atmosphere is focused, everyone working, team is social and easy to get along with, pretty good training too me.
