Peakbound

•	Telephone sales agent for work insurance products. Peakbound held a major contract with ANZ Bank to sell insurance to their clientele. Due to the nature of this contract it was essential that customer information was managed safely and securely through the banking customer information security database.
•	General office administration such as photocopying, updating office supplies, printing, answering and transferring phone calls
•	Creating and maintaining relationships with customers, including accurate recording of call data. 
•	Promoting the business via social media and telecommunications marketing

A typical day began at 11am. I learned a lot about my ability to challenge myself and use words to try and overcome obstacles. 
Some of their senior staffers are their biggest downfall and there is a culture of fear which has been created by some team leaders. Co-workers were a mixture of Australian residents and a large number of backpackers- they're all great. The hardest part of the job occurred if you were having a bad day and off your game and feeling like you've let the team down. The most enjoyable was overcoming objectives and making sales.

Managers make it their job to get to you, constantly giving feedback to employees and a meeting in the morning would be held each day to make sure that if there is a problem, it would be resolved quickly. The employees were friendly and great to work with. Constant challenges i.e. KPI's so it makes challenging in a positive way for an individual to strive for success without just being content

It was a lifetime experience working for the same company for 7 years. I learnt a lot about the service industry, the finance industry and I can confidently say I know everything about the insurance industry. I have 10 years of sales experience which will be benefited by any finance and sales industry.

Had some decent colleagues working with me, some managers where okay, others questionable.  A lot of broken promises work wise, hours kept changing. Team structure changed constantly.

This is a great place to work if you are a yes person and never question those in authority. if, however, you do question, expect to be fired/dismissed. You are also expected to work overtime and cancel plans when they tell you to, not ask, but tell you to.

started off ok, until you start meeting the team leaders who are really stuck up.. Knowing that they're only young but honestly have no reason to be constantly rude and think they own you.. pathetic place to work

Fun and lively environment perfect for sales. The vibrant culture and young bright employee base brings the atmosphere of working here to life. Insurance is not the most entertaining thing to sell but i thoroughly enjoyed doing it.

I didn't find this particular role very enjoyable the management where poor and not very willing to help and improve their staff, they were just interested about how much money they would make at the end of the day.

Peakbound is a great workplace, utilizing different skills and attributes you would work with. 

With a great group of people and management to work with, professionally and socially.
