Pax is generally a great place to work day to day, however, the remuneration packages are far below what is common in industry. As a wage worker the overtime is good and plentiful, and very rewarding. Anyone on a salary package is expected to work >55 hrs/week, with no bonuses. It is extremely difficult to get an idea of that KPIs you are measured on, and despite the quality of your work, long hours are a must for any measure of success.

it's a good workplace but most of the time they cancel casuals and that's why I'm looking for another job. Fun and safe environment, people are good and friendly. I was working day shifts since I started there and when they cancel me most of the morning while I'm on my way to work due to low production, then I call for the afternoon shifts, and that's the same problem as well. Last 2 weeks, I called everyday for job and they confirmed but later on they cancelled again

When a department doesn’t do their work properly, it greatly affects the other departments.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Not very stressful, I depends on the schedule for the day

Safety and security is essential.  Salary is high compared to other manufacturing company.  Majority of the employees are casual.  Last batch of permanent employees are hired more than 10 years ago.  Casual workers are given 5 days work during peak season i.e. November to May.

Different day same orders to pack. learned a lot about safety and new thing about the products. Management was very bad. no good at all. Hardest thing about the work place was long hours on your feet but you do get use to it after a week or 2. the most enjoyable part about working there was the weekly pays.

Good place to work close to home but to many people think they are bosses being on call you don’t get many shifts they have to many casuals to get a fair work load 

The supervisor that was there had terrible manners, unprofessional, dodgy and the list just goes on.
The work environment, people was good had a range of products to pack on different line and areas.
The management there is beyond disgusting. They get away with anything and get good hard workers sacked.

I've learned that team work is important and also communication.pax is very clean especially the scent it gives when products are made and the people are so kind and caring.

Pax Australia is a vibrant and productive place where the Ernest and honest employee really has no choice but to excel, An honest days pay for an honest days work is exactly what the intrepid can expect here.

Great place to work at, great people everyone is very kind and friendly. When not knowing what to do other workers would sit and help you through the hard times.
