Great product
A lot of great and smart people in this company but an old culture is in place. New people with new ideas seem to come and go with a very high frequency. 
I was aware of a market opinion that Parker was considered as poor in Customer Service when I took up the position and thought I could make a difference. Customer service though is not the people who look after the phones ..... Customer service is how you service your market through inventory levels, pricing and  technical assistance and this is all sadly lacking. Try to change the culture and you make a target of yourself (and here I do not speak personally I watched good people pushed out because they had ideas and views which questioned the old guard). 
This is a company more than capable of dominating the Australian Market it services and yet fails to do so. It is not the people on the coalface ...they change too frequently.. it is not the product ... It is not the company, it thrives in most other nations around the world The one consistent is the way they go to market here in Australia and during my 4.5 years there I met very few customers who dealt with Parker because they wanted to... only those who understood the quality of the product and put up with the company to access the product. Sometimes the problem is not with the general but...those advisers he listens to.

Work in the warehouse is fun and easy and always something new arriving which keeps the job exciting most of the staff there are very friendly, although the management at Parker wasn't the best, decisions always getting changed, and communication was at a low with these decisions, one team leader in the warehouse is extremely rude and over forceful with getting the job done, no one could relax and enjoy working around him, he tends to have a laugh and play a harmless practical joke on an individual at times, which is fine at the time for him, busy or not but when the same is done in return, he makes it out as if that individual doesn't care, is lazy and hasn't got a clue or tells them to stop wasting time,..

The pay was very low, and not much overtime any more, but when there was o.t to be taken if refused you as an individual are made out as letting the company down.

When I left, nothing positive to say about a corrupt management 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Not being recognised as a human being ,you are treated like a robot

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Toxic , got fed up of being back stabbed by shop floor supervisors ; who are too keen to climb the work ladder at any cost 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Watch your back, constantly being watched and full of pettiness; especially when they watch you go to the toilet

Have a check if any work orders came in from afternoon shift for work to be done of a breakdown nature.
If no breakdown work required would work off outstanding job request list and order any parts if required to undertake task
Learnt more about CNC machines 
The majority of management were open to your input into the maintenance of factory
Excellent group of maintenance workers
The hardest part of the job was fitting in all the requests for work to be undertaken
The most enjoyable part of the job was have new challenges every day

Opening/closing the factory, starting machines, getting changeovers ready, quality assurance, unloading/loading trucks.

Keep production lines running to specs and within the time limit and management is happy.

I couldn't say there was a hard part to the job, probably just learning the job, once you become familiar every things fine.

I would say the most enjoyable part is working in a team environment.

In this place i Started doing the credits for Enzed branches only, then got asked to join the customer service team, from there i learnt alot about the products.

I have learnt a great many things from this workplace, starting from the work culture and the moral ethics they have. Also, the people made me feel at home, as an international migrant, I never felt unwanted over here.

Great company with great work life balance.
Very busy global company, many long term employees, offier great benefits to all staff.  This company can offer great career development to the right person.

A very nice environment to work , very creative where you can use your experience and skills in designing of components and assemblies .I really liked to work in 3D designing (Inventor) as its very interesting and creative.

Too few resources to resolve the ongoing problems in organization. More technical resources are required to to keep up with the growth and changes within the business.
