PATRICK AUTOCARE

I am the only painter within my workshop so I must work quickly and effectively in order to meet the high demands. I liaise with my peers in other areas well to ensure we are all working collaboratively to achieve deadlines. 

The hardest part of my job is when there is limited cars for me to work on and I prefer to stay busy and productive.

The most enjoyable part of my day is being given a challenging repair

If you're not full time and hired through an agency, you're nothing too them.

Almost impossible to become full time. At Christmas time they give out nice little presents to full time workers only infront of all casual staff. 

Way too many people at the top that just sit on their behinds all day or walk around trying to be intimidating. 

Always goes quiet with work. Steer clear.

good place to learn. loads of different places to go co-workers were good to work with and most was easy to train with was my best part of the job followed by running north west but long days

easy job always busy which i like. work as a team. get to drive brand new cars every day.the hardest part of the job was working outdoors the weather conditions were not good alot of the time like winter.

Pretty laid back employer that doesn't require many skills but has no options for career advancement. A lot of manual labour but allow employees to leave after completing daily set work

They had a boy's Club culture there with the supervisors certain people which made it hard to work there in the end so you couldn't go anywhere with any complaints because they all just Back each other up

Learnt a lot from Auatocare, in the technical terms it was really good that I got that job to be learning about cars. At Auatocare we get new cars from overseas, and then we installed new parts into it.

repetetive work with very little job satisfaction, there was very little chance of career progretion unless you were there for min 3 to 5 years and the promotion was not to a siutable leavel.

Hard physical work but great people to work with
I dealt with all the intake and export of vehicles in an out the Fremantle Wharf.  
The top management were good people and staff I worked with were friendly.
