Worked here for many years, the early years were great but the later years (Vovid era) was awful when the management was largely led by sub-continent leaders. They imported their toxic work culture and pushed that downstream. WIthin 12 months, 80% of the new hires were from their own ethic background. These hires were generally hard working and smart, but because they shared the same work culture of the upper management, they were willing to put up with the rediculous demands and abuse from them. Imagine receiving a text at 10:30pm asking to start a piece of work - this was sent to 2 of us, and guess which one replied - the one from the same culture. This new upper management continued their rude, disrespectful and abusive style to push the team to get the numbers. No wonder within 24 months, there were a few workcover claims raised and fed up long term employees leaving. Such a shame from the wonderful yesteryears when working there was fun and productive! Some new hires were motified when they saw this treatment by upper management and quitted before their probabtion even ended.

A typical day at work involves all aspects of sales, delivery, focused client engagements with a focus on latest technologies. 
Each day brings new challenges with different clients, having different tech stacks and different requirements giving me exposure daily to differing industries and technologies in diverse cultures.

Oracle brand name is very good to have in your CV. If you start your career with the company, then you can learn a lot of good things. It is not bad to join later either. Good salary and benefits are added advantage.

Work pressure can be a problem from time to time. The workforce can be more diverse, taking more Chinese, Indians and Blacks can help them to achieve that. 

The good part is that they have more female employees than males, which means it is diverse from a gender perspective. But the workforce, especially higher positions are currently dominated by whites only. So, it will be great if they can bring diversity from an ethnicity perspective as well.

Have successfully implemented NAB NextGen project enterprise releases , created SAT plan which includes backout plan and DR plan, prepared business continuity plan for DR site (Knox-East Melbourne), prepared Technical installation guide for 28 assets/components of NAB-ORACLE. Prepared final scope document and planned for Pre-prod and SAT environment, worked on TRAC document and presented to committed. Created infoman change record and obtain change control board approval by presenting change pack.

The people at oracle are professional and hard working. The business is geared to supporting its workers and provides a range of training material. As an employee you have access to the whole suite of Oracle products as well as access to documentation and support. HR is very supportive and responds quickly to issues.

- Bigger responsibilities from the beginning.
- Peer to peer learning and knowledge sharing is the best part.
- Lots of learning opportunities in the different fields but you need to take initiative.
- Well paid and transparent payroll system.
Cons
- Only Oracle products used and its hard to learn other technologies unless working with clients.
- You need to initiate things if you want to keep learning.

Oracle has great products set to offer customers  from Oracle database, applications, middle-ware, hardware stack  and cloud offerings.

Challenging environment to manage  with such large  product portfolio.

HR benefits and package if great  with in Oracle.

After 25Yrs++ in IT industry looking  for new IT  opportunity.

Oracle probably one of the better corporate environments for operations support systems I have worked for.  

Culture supports the correct use and connectivity between systems, sometimes frustrating however overall worth it.

People culture was friendly and supportive.
