Friendly and very positive work environment. All staff are highly valued and are encouraged to grow and take a further step to progress in providing premium quality home care.

You have to be on your own to face new challenges, such as driving clients to unfamiliar locations.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Very friendly, positive and supportive. Promoted on-going professional development as well.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
First I drove to my client's home, and provide household duties/ personal care/ grooming/ transportation with my own car for the client. Then I went to another client's home to provide care similar as above.

Nurse Next Door has been an excellent place to work, especially as this is my first role within the industry. From the beginning, I have felt supported and encouraged by management and my colleagues. The team is welcoming, professional, and always willing to provide guidance and support when needed.

I really appreciate the opportunities for ongoing learning and development, as the company invests in staff training and growth.
The flexibility around scheduling has also been a huge benefit, particularly as a parent of a young child. As a casual employee, I feel my work-life balance is respected and accommodated where possible. 
The pay rate is also very fair for the hours worked. Overall, I feel valued and supported and would highly recommend Nurse Next Door to anyone looking for a positive, supportive, and rewarding workplace.

Remembering to login. Other than that There is nothing

Good. There is no in-house fighting and I work in a variety of different places and clients runs very smoothly due to great management

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Arrive at clients if it's community access we go out into the community doing whatever the client loves to do if it is sill's house we do the daily living in their own home environment

Lovely clients, some very nice co workers.

The low pay and high expectations.  Silly culture that promotes competition between the workers.

Not suited for common sense hard-working individuals who have no time for BS.

Not much work that suitable, too many short shifts that are not very well paid.

It's best company ever they take care their clients and staff

 No stressful part because all staff is well educated and company helping their clients need all time.they always supervise their staff

They all are friendly and helpful.

Some time it's challenging but at rest all good

The management were horrible, used and abused you and penalised you if couldn’t do shifts

Negative they expect you to live for the company 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Rushing from client to client not enough time to get there

These people are all talk no action, when it comes to new employees.

They talk up about the company and then they hurt you, then NOTHING!!! No shifts, no communication, no “team” work to getting your name out there for their clients! 

I’m furious they wasted my time!! Don’t bother applying with this company/franchise they’ll act like they have work and they don’t. 

Management very unprofessional

Will let go of you with a snap of a finger 
Can reduce your hours to 4 hours a week to get rid of you
Will not back you up if I’m conflict situations
Management staff very rude to their employees 
Cannot claim klm’s to and from clients 


After requesting support and advice on a challenging situation, I was offered no support or training and instead my hours cut to 1/6th of what they were so my pay reduced by 84%. They refused to pay for online training. Policy offers EAP but was told me that they haven't signed up for it so wouldn't pay for it.
