Wouldn't recommend outside of just starting out and getting some experience under the belt. Fairly wide variety of potential jobs, events, retail, hospital, CC ect. But its 75% retail and CC. The rosters come thick and fast, however are constantly being changed last minute, or shifts cancelled all together (even mere hours before shift start).

 They don't pay award rates for weekends, just flat rates. The hours are long, boring and usually involve working alone. Rosters are sent out weekly, however, if you knock back too many shifts they will stop rostering you. In my experience, i knocked back shifts that were too far from my base to my liking (which was a significant amount). The updates, and changes to rosters are constant, to an almost spammy level. They will message multiple times within minutes to confirm changes.

I have had several major incidents with no debriefing or follow up from management. 

I've heard from others in the industry that they have a high turnover rate for employees, and its now easy to see why.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Available shift, flexible time, work location near to home, they take care their employees, good environment, good hours, handsome pay rate. Specially they gave opportunities to new people that who hasn’t any experience. And can get an experience. 
And finally they are friendly with their employees.

NPB security is very big company. They always need a people. They gave an opportunity to new people and do not need any experience and they gave a tanning as per requirements .

Nice and good environments and culture 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
I didn’t get any of day during my work. They always take care of their employees

Management don't really care about you. And when you tell them things like, how far you're willing to travel, or your availability, they don't take that into consideration at all. 

You can always decline a shift if you want but I'm sure that they'll eventually stop sending shifts all together if you dodge too many.

Hardest part about it all is that you never know what you're doing. Even if you're assigned a shift for tomorrow, you could wake up with a sorry and a shift change that sends you way off the beaten path. 

The only enjoyable part about it is the people you get to meet sometimes.

Flexible with the roster and they won't keep you waiting for shifts.

Not so considerate towards the nature of security role 


What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Like many other companies, this one has a "work mates" preferences too, and by workmates I mean, better role and offers made to guard they are known or close to the management

Engaging at the site and quite a learning experience.

Customer Service & interaction with the Public

Bouncing intoxicated patrons out

They are the worst company to work with, its okay to work as a starter/fresher but their management is too rude and they do not treat us as humans. Their operations are the worst to begin with they would say and promise one thing with you next day they just throw out of the window.

Security is ok if you get to corporate level but most guys find they are used by companies on un social rosters and pay.Promotion is by matey club only which means most have less than half a brain

They have a horrible reputation and I was told this before I got a job there. I took them on face value. Worst thing I ever did in security and highly recommend you steer clear of this company. Just buck passes that NEVER take responsibility for their errors, they will blame others. 

I have only just started working here, but it has a nice vibe about it. I am only working part time at the moment.

Each venue having it's own challenges, so it keeps you learning and on your toes. 

I enjoy the pubs most as they provide the most action and make the night go quickly.

I regretted being a member of NPB.Is the worst company I have ever worked for. I will not encourage any new or young guard to work with them,is just a waist of time.They have a very poor customer service they talk to their guard anyhow with no respect.
