What is the best part of working at the company?
Working at Nike was such a positive and memorable chapter for me. I felt welcomed into a team that was supportive, friendly and full of great energy. The culture truly felt like a community rather than just a workplace.

I learned so much during my time here, not only about product knowledge and customer service, but also about teamwork, communication and confidence in a fast-paced environment. Every shift was different and engaging, and I always felt proud to represent a brand with such strong values and standards.

I have honestly never felt so proud to work for a brand, believe in what it stands for, and I know I will always be a supporter of Nike.

The people I worked alongside made the experience what it was, and I always felt supported by both my teammates and leaders.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
As part of being in a casual role, inconsistent hours could sometimes make routine, planning and financial stability outside of work a little challenging.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
A customer-focused day built around teamwork, product knowledge and creating a welcoming in-store experience for customers.

Been working at nike for over 7 months and I have to say the work environment is really good. The team members you work with are awesome but some managers are a bit of a pain. The pay is alright, it is a standard retail pay with weekend rates. however the amount of hours you get at work will all depend on how much sale you are making. That however will make a lot of people stressed and look for a second job if you don't meet that sale target. Working at Nike they expect you to love the brand. If you are someone who likes other brand more than nike (like me), you may find yourself to have conflicts with some of your managers as some of them are die hard nike fans. The benefits aren't amazing, depending on which franchise you work for, RPG offers you 30% staff discount and generous amount of uniform voucher and Af1 offers just staff discount. please note that staff discounts only apply on items that are not limited and not on top of discounted items. So Vapormax, Jordans etc are not included. It is not amazing since competitors like adidas offer 50%.

Constant micro managing, depressing place to work, must clock in at least 15 minutes before shift time starts or 15 minutes of your pay will be docked, must *try to* clock in and out of breaks even though the computer may be in use to process sale - if you are over time then 15 minutes of pay docked too!, must only wear in season Nike activewear, really poor workplace culture with high school like cliques and disrespectful staff, must also complete Nike modules outside of paid hours, a small 30-35% staff discount despite Nike brand clothes + shoes head to toe to be worn, difficulty communicating with customers as the store I worked at was a FRANCHISE and returns from other or online stores are not accepted. 

I hated working retail, but Nike made it manageable. Right from the get go I knew it would be a great company to work for - the interview was professional, well-run and informative about the role. The induction day let you in on the company’s cultures and made you feel right at home, plus got you to bond with other new team members (they group hired) / meet current team members. Didn’t feel out of place at all from my first day there; everyone who worked there was super inclusive and lovely, staff discount rate is amazing and incentives are great.

My day started to be sure that all the items of every brand were exposed and all the sizes supplied before opening the shop. I had to meet and greet all the clients, monitor access, provide quality customer service, receive and stock store on the shelves following the established brand guidelines.
I improved my communication skills and to take initiative as needed.
There isn't a real hardest part of this kind of job. I love interacting with customers, trying to understand every kind of customers offering a personalised approach, work in team and always to be motivated to achieve the results.

Company culture is great as you are constantly surrounded by like minded inviduals who share the same passion and drive for sports. What I have learned during my time at Nike is that customers are always put first and information of a product must be given when a customer tries on a shoe for example. The hardest part of the Job is learning all the procedures and   steps on running the technical side of things. The most enjoyable part of the job is the people who you work with as they have a similar passion and drive with you in terms of sport.

good job for retail, great discounts however there was a lot of favouritism and leniency with certain staff member whom were related or previous friends to management, got away with a lot more stuff then other people was given certain opportunities or raises. Even when hitting target goals and going above and beyond was not appreciated and shown as the same to others, very nice people just alot of favourites if you were related which majority staff were 

For a large global company it has very down to earth ideals. The people who work here are fun, intelligent and professional. No one is ever  to busy to help you and plenty of recognition is given to individuals who excel. Being a billion dollar company you are required to work hard and sometimes for longer hours than a normal working day but at the end of it all it is very rewarding.

It was nice to be a part of a big brand name NIKE. I gained my inventory skills at Nike. I learned about stock put away, finding faults in the product, replenishment stock, cycle count, other inventory duties.
The management was really helpful and supportive. Other team members were supportive.
The hardest part of the job is that they didn't have a lot of over time.
Every day and each part of the job were enjoyable.

Working at Nike has been a positive and motivating experience. The company culture encourages teamwork, creativity, and personal growth. Management is supportive, and the environment is fast-paced but rewarding. Employees are passionate about the brand, and there’s a strong sense of community and pride in the work. The work-life balance can vary depending on your role, but overall, it’s a great place to learn, develop, and be part of an iconic global brand.
