-daily duties included many ad hoc duties, phone calls to and from suppliers, numerous staff queries, HR issues, attending meetings, ensuring the daily runnings of the team was on track
-I learnt numerous personal qualities, be strong and always listen carefully, coming into a new industry I had so much to learn about what the company did
-I worked for many different people and personalities and learnt how to deal with them personally
-My fellow co-workers were great to work for and we worked well together
-The hardest part of my job was trying to learn the industry, but when I did get a hang of it I feel I did a great job. I also found hard the long hours and long roster with working onsite
-The most enjoyable part of the job was the people I worked for, kept the day fun

Very early starts ,management can be unaware of the difficulties on the job front . Sometimes very poor communication of what is required , Open discussion is not encouraged .
Job satisfaction and pride in your own acheivements is one positive aspect of the job .  The people I work with are very good people ,just needs to be a more open door management without fear of detrimental consequenses

 Friends  of the Irish
 The others

In general a treacherous company to work for with an appalling record of sackings and inappropriate management approach.  Are not up front in there activities.

A typical day consisted of 
I learned about Mclroy fast fusion machines,
Dogging - lifting pipes
We worked as a team if was a professional crew.
Most enjoyable part of the job was learning about gaslines. The hardest part was setting valves for 800mm pipe with electrofusion.

Working for the company was a great learning experience, I had many of responsibility's & was always eager to learn more to climb the ranks.Work colleages were great people that became a close family.

Murphy pipe and civil have some very professional and expierence personal that are driven to succeed ,Providing all New members with the same drive the tools and equipment to further their own  career.

I did all truck driving jobs from water truck, fuel truck and within a couple of months, promoted to a semi 45ft extendable delivering all logistics to the trunkline. 
All equipment I used was maintained and serviced and never broke down.
I also never had 1 sick day and was very reliable.

Very good company to work for in the beginning, But has very low morale within the workforce
Mosy enjoyable part of the job is knock off and catching up with your workmates.

Camps are really good with plenty of activities and live bands to keep your mind off home

I have worked for MPC prior to this project for 4 years. Really is a great company to work for very professional in all aspect of the job from start to finish.

Friendly/close work groups, the experience gained has been of great benefit to me and I still have friendships formed whilst there. They give young people a go. loved the coffee machine lol.
