Managing staff on a national level and attending to any client issues promptly.
Critically review all properties prior to settlement to ensure construction was completed to an acceptable standard in line with client expectations, contract for sale and marketing campaign.
Ensure budgets are maintained for all residential projects.
Provide input on design elements to ensure best design principles are incorporated into the build.
Provide ongoing communication to clients throughout build process to ensure they are prepared for settlement.
Coordinate client events to promote the brand and enhance the purchasing process.
Assist marketing team in the design and execution of project marketing campaigns
Sales, Marketing, Developments and the Design Team worked collaboratively with Customer Relations to ensure a seamless sales and settlement process
An 'open door' policy was encouraged and demonstrated from senior management
Provide support to clients to ensure successful settlements of their purchase
The most difficult component of the job; to not take responsibility for actions that were out of my control e.g. clients who purchase an apartment off the plan at the height of the market and then reach financial difficulty if settlements take place once the market softens eg post GFC. 
The most satisfying component of the job is witnessing a clients delight once they see their finished home for the first time.

A typical day will involve lots of planning and teamwork to produce flawless end results. 

I learnt to better understand plans, to work better in a team and complete tasks more efficiently. 

I also worked as a team leader here and there. 

The culture is great and everyone is very respectful of whoever you may be and you are always welcomed with open arms. 

The hardest part of the job was when stuff ups arised and it would halt us from continuing the job. 

The enjoyable part of the job was the paycheck and comradery.

Ok so you are considering Multiplex. They certainly build iconic projects, and if you are lucky you will get a job there as many will apply but few will succeed. What you will find is a ‘corporate builder culture’ one that is clicky, promotes mates, is insular, has unrealistic people expectations and is overally demanding. You will be sold work/life balance but never receive it. You will have to use clunky computer systems. You will be constantly cross-examined and questioned. You will be treated as a number or resource do 56-65 hour weeks driven to the ground.

A typical day includes early starts and long hours with an abundance of new tasks to be learned every day due to the nature of the position. Co-workers consist of many long term employees, both fellow labourers and site management, however, there is also an opportunity to meet many new people who are employed with the many different sub-contractors that service the sites (sometimes up to 3000 people can attend a site on any given day).

Can be long hours but always worth it

Typical day - Supervising trades, organising crane time and lifts, monitoring and implementing WHS, reviewing drawings etc

Hardest part of the job is dealing with non cooperative workers 

The most enjoyable part is looking back at what has been accomplished throughout the day/week/month/year.

Was an experience, being on a site with 1000 workers was great to see how smoothly it ran. Defiantly far different than any other sites I had been on throughout my career. Was annoyed how my employment finished, but s**t happens. 

Poor management with sink or swim mentality. No assistance given until you make a mistake and then you are used as a scapegoat for terrible senior managers decisions.

Multiplex had a willing and able team to complete jobs fast and thoroughly, safely and swiftly. However the work was not consistent, so am now looking elsewhere.

Great company to work for. Looked after the family man. Learnt how to work and liaise with delivery drivers unloading and loading of trucks.

Work place culture was multi cultural.
