I had a great time and learnt many things doing my work. I had the opportunity to travel around the world an met many suppliers and colleagues. My colleagues became a family and there was a good sense of community; people always very helpful and friendly. The company turned upside down when they merged with a competitor, causing a cultural change and the introduction to many processes without clear direction. As management changed in the department, the role was very limited to do less challenging tasks, was micromanaged and didn't provide a clear sense for direction and opportunities to growth.

Having the opportunity to work for a very diverse company like Outotec, I have learned that your co-workers and close management team are vital. Outotec has given me the opportunity to travel and experience living and working in many different locations and cultures around the world. On a day to day basis this job can be very physical by, using sledgehammers, rattle guns, oxi cutting and thermal lancing equipment.

Awesome crew, great management, good variety work.
Optional overtime, optional nightshift (when the works there) 
When wanting to do overtime, management is happy with the early starts so your able to get out of work at a reasonable hour quite often for toolbox sessions management will take us out for food and drink while we talk about safety etc. 

Assist various trades , dogging and rigging work , great bunch of fellas to work with, everyone did their bit . camp catered well for the workers. Safety proceedures were adequate and adhered to . Hardest part was getting adequate sleep when on nightshift .Management ( supervisors ) assisted crews well to put the appropriate tools and proceedures in place to get the work done .

Management is clueless. Relaying on highly skilled and experienced workers to carry them. Good place to make money if fifo is your scene. Training was good with Quiggy but all went downhill after his departure.

I would thoroughly recommend this company to anyone.  It's a great office with excellent staff and management.  Innovative and efficient.  Engineers may tire after a few years as there are a limited number of products to work on

Great company to work for on a number of levels.
great guys to work on the tools with, supervisors are hands on, team spirit, ongoing work on a regular basis. 
Pay is never a problem, good variety of work and sites. Management works hard to keep you in work.

I always work with a lot of new faces within this company due to the amounts of shutdowns that go on. I have learned more about fixed plant and more about how the Ore Handling Plant works which has been a good experience. Most enjoyable part of the job is visiting new mine sites which also handle different minerals.

Outotec, was a good company to work for, my role was brilliant, being sent to different mine sites, having to to instantly build a rapport with the new team of workers. This was challenging and thoroughly enjoyable.

MO group need help as they’re Business model is lacking due to Finish oversight on business practices. I hampers local growth and association with clients.
