Working at Menzies is funny, not to say otherwise.
They will make you lots of promises that will never become real, the hours a pretty poor and a horrible culture, people getting promoted without even learning the basics though, the management are never at the same page, for example the Operations Manager asked me why I was not wearing uniform, I just had to remind her that they never gave me uniforms, and she got angry at me, because of that.
Well, if you are thinking about to work at Menzies, think again.

The place doesn't exist anymore so it doesn't matter but management made some stupid decisions and spent money where it wasn't necessary and no money where it was necessary. Communication to people who actually did the c=job before making changes would have probably saved everybody their jobs!

What is the best part of working at the company?
The finishing time, however the rapport with staff was good. Pay not so good. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Not enough time to do your work 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Do as I say not as I do , not a good culture 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Exhausted , no time to have a break

Long hours lack of staff, managers are very helpful and work as a team, HR team very helpful Ops managers very understanding. I have been working for 2 years as managing government schools and need a change.

A great company with great working culture. Great support from the hierarchy to perform the job. Flexible working hours with great team ethics of team work. Respect for each other is commendable.

It was a good job. The hours were great especially when you had to be close to home & kids. The people were friendly and can be descent people to work with.

Good company to work for. 90% of the Contract Managers are great a couple leave a lot to be desired. Most are Good sites to work on.Some really friendly staff. Hardest thing would be split Shifts.

I found the company to be very good to the employees and rewarded good work. Many of the employees loved their jobs and made it a great place to work and made my job an easy one.

Working as a cleaner for a public school and working with children was great, even the teachers were wonderful, hard work but was very rewarding, good hours to work as well

It was really a nice experience working with Menzies Property Service in Sydney. Hoping to get same opportunity to work in hobart Tasmania. I got the chance of learning the new skills in this company.
