Hardest Part of the Job:
- Deceptive management: Working under leadership known for shady practices and a history of betraying employee trust creates an atmosphere of uncertainty and insecurity.
- Manipulative behaviour: Management's tendency to lie to avoid admitting fault or gain an advantage undermines the organisation's integrity and erodes trust.
- Betrayal of trust: Hearing accounts from former employees about having the rug pulled out from under them multiple times highlights a pattern of deceit and disregard for employee well-being.
- Verbal abuse: Enduring being yelled at by management creates a hostile and intimidating work environment, causing emotional distress and undermining self-esteem.
- Intimidation tactics: The use of aggressive tone/"yelling" to assert authority or control instills fear and anxiety among employees, making it difficult to perform effectively and feel valued.
- Psychological impact: Constantly being subjected to verbal berating takes a toll on mental health.
- Under-appreciation of staff and nurses: Despite their dedication and hard work, employees, including staff and nurses, feel undervalued and unappreciated by management, leading to demotivation and disengagement.
- Micromanagement and low trust: Experiencing constant blame and control from management creates a stifling work environment where autonomy is limited and trust is scarce, hindering productivity and morale.
- Missed opportunities for improvement: Ignoring feedback and shutting down alternative perspectives prevents the organisation from addressing weaknesses and adapting to change effectively.

I respect  workplace ethics, keep my work organised and always aim to meet my deadlines. Being of an Indian heritage, born in Kenya, I have a good understanding of many cultures, speak and understand 5 different languages which are: English (Education), Punjabi (Which is my mother tongue), Hindi, Gujarati and Swahili (which is their native language). Moving to Australia with my family at the age of 19, I was faced with many challenges which I managed well with a positive and  “can-do” attitude. 

Working part time and being a mother, I was able to multi task and also able to prioritise my work accordingly which I consider as part of the main aspect of my personality. I can easily approach people and make a conversation and be helpful wherever I can be.

Very stressful job due to poor management and unrealistic expectations. The management focuses on end result only at all costs - priority is phone calls yet forget the fact that our number is private hence many voicemails are left as nurses are reluctant to answering the phone calls, and there are other way of communications (SMS and emails that nurses prefer). Consultants waste time doing ineffective tasks given by the management rather than focusing on the actual job - no trust and no autonomy (micromanagement). No recognition of high achievements - never good enough. 

The work opportunities are great and rewarding.  The uniform attracts many nice compliments from patients, visitors in public and hospital staff.  It is extremely functional with many pockets for all that a nurse carries on her person from bedside to bedside.  It is very comfortable and professional, easy to wash and wear.  It is so much more professional in look and functionality than the current standard of many nursing agents which is that of a polo shirt and many without a pcoket at all. Good on Mediserve for the attention to detail with professional look and functionality of uniform for nurses who work long hours.

The Main Office and Melbourne office are great. The Qld office is horrendous bringing shame to this agency. Ive worked on/off with this agency for awhile now and never have I experienced the level of unprofessionalism from the brisbane office. Rude staff, last minutes cancellations, changes with rates, the list goes on. I would not recommend this agency for now not unless they changed their culture and behaviour towards the people that work for them. Negotiation doesn't exist with this office. Such a shame. 

One on one care.
I worked as a Personal Care Assistant with Mediserve Nursing Agency in various hospitals in Brisbane and also the Gold Coast area. My duties within this job were caring for hospital patients who may have various illnesses. These patients varied from the elderly to young adults, people with disabilities and people who may have psychiatric problems. My experience while working with Choice One agency provided valuable when requiring this position.

I have worked with Mediserve for over a year now, the staff are so so efficient, professional and super organised and timely.  I am with a few other nursing agencies though mediserve are hands down the best, all the consultants are intelligent, effective communicators, honest, trustworthy & show much integrity.  I can be a lil stressful at times though the staff are extremely kind and supportive.  100% recommend this company.  Im also with HCA (avoid this agency), Medacs (good agency), First Choice just started (good agency so far) 

I actual pleased to work with Me deserve ,they accepted me and worked very friendly .I wish to get the sponsored work visa to entering Australia and work hard for the company and support the life of the people living with disability and elderly .God bless you Medeserve to support my life .

I had to do a week of on line training to work in NT but it was very informative and beneficial. Workplace culture in NT is a learning curve in itself. Working for Mediserve Nursing Agency was a great experience for me in Perth, Sydney, Darwin and Adelaide. The office staff were just so easy to get on with and flexible.

Very indifferent management. Interested in end result only and do not really encourage staff at all. The decisions from management change constantly. Head office is in Perth so communication is difficult for other state offices.
Very difficult environment to work in. Almost to the point of unprofessionalism.
