Once the clinical manager was promoted to site manager, things took a turn for the better. She understands and really cares about her staff; will listen and try work things out in a professional manner.

Some team leaders abuse their role, and there can sometimes be favouritism between RN and carers (if they’re friends). Some carers just don’t care and do the bare minimum and it is very sad to see  

Overall nice place, very modern and nice foods for the residents  very involved team and lost of activities for pateients to pass the time.

Listening by management, they’re open minded for any suggestions coming from residents & staff, willing to fix to become a better place/services, nice meals options for residents & staff, fresh new building facility, great wages/rewards for staff (got 3-5x times raising wages during 3years working there). Required Med Cert for 1 day sick leave (if you’re sicky person, don’t apply a job there). Very multicultural people which respect each other. Now, they provide uniform for staff, which is good improvement !

I have learned a lot during my time working in Meath Care, the co-workers are friendly but right now the management is not so good. They have a very short staff and i am currently looking for somewhere else so work. Working there for 4 years has given me experience as a carer to work in different environments.

working for 3 weeks as part of my placement i found staff and residents friendly and helpful and enjoyable place to work , engaging with the staff and residents were enjoyable and made a lot of relationships withe the residents.

I loved working at Meathcare,I was at that place for the past 8 years.I am now working for juniper as a casual worker but am looking for a permernant position job somewhere.

my day started at 2pm and every job was with the clock.my co workers were great but they finished 30 minutes after i started.the afternoon flew by very quickly and before i new it , it was time to go home.

It is a fair place to work. There are teams with positive attitude, evidence based clinical care. Excellent training programs.

At times it can be very busy but it's what we expect from an aged care facility. Very good place to work as I've been there for 7+ years and would recommend it to anyone looking to work in that area.

Disgusting place! Always understaffed, get treated like a criminal for having a sick day, no recognition no matter how hard you work, favouritism! Management don't listen to anything you say, nasty organisation!
