What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Juggling phone and face to face contacts with clients, liasing with various agencies on your clients behalf. Building relationships with prospective employers for your clients. Making sure case notes are up to date and and clients are meeting mutual obligations, ensuring job  plans are up to date.....

Losing positions and not been able to go any further

Culture wasnt to bad at all management need to be on the floor more

Busy staff problems putting out fires working along side employers

Matchworks are very good at saying they have a positive culture, they don’t. My site manager was frequently not at the office to support the team. She would rarely be contactable and failed to return calls. I had to work longer hours to get all the paperwork done. Regional Manager was abrupt and rarely engaged with teams, high turn over of staff and forget about progression unless your mates with Managers.

Management are excellent and very transparent.  Regional management in Queensland, also fantastic and very approachable.  Good work/life balance and help is always there if needed.  Would highly recommend them as a good workplace to anyone.  The only not so good part is they are not keen on WFH at all, no flexibility there in Queensland.  Pay is also below the national average and it needs to be reviewed.

Have the pleasure of working with such wonderful people in my office.
It is a small team but an effective one.  Everyone helps each out if assistance is required and does not complain about it later on.  Wonderful work environment.

Kept of 6 month to 6 month contracts. Kept as a causal  even though I was working full-time. 
Wasn't  the right pay rate for the amount of work we did.
No holidays, No Sick leave  nothing.
Was expected to do everything. 

Changes in management recently has seen total chaos and a lack of clear direction in a new contract. But it will settle. 
There is a lot of favouritism happening it seems. 
Lots of people here for the right reasons and it is fun to work at when campaigns and activities are happening.

There are qualified people in different areas across the business that you can draw on when you are unsure or more expert advise is needed

I loved working for Matchworks, the management were amazing and treated me with respect. It was a family friendly environment and at times my children came to work with me.

Great company to work for. employment only seized due to relocating interstate. Management and co workers all have lovely work culture. However, job itself is very demanding dealing with jobseekers.
