What is the best part of working at the company?
Everyone is friendly and very understanding. Despite the it being a cool room. I thoroughly enjoyed working there.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
When the line is busy. I used to do the bagging for ice. If the line is busy you have no assisstance to bring the ice from the palate. You have to keep it moving, but those ice containers are heavy for just one person as the line keeps progressing.

Each one has a job to do. But we all help each other when we could

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
A typical day would be a busy day in the cool room.

A challenging environment that feels a lot like a cult as Marley Spoon wants to control every minute of my day including when I am not at work. Gosh I was even told how to look after my daughter and told to be more physically active when I am not at work like walk to my daughter’s daycare to pick her up. I witness many unprofessional behaviours each day. Unhealthy hours just to do your job to a satisfactory level. No positive feedback ever. Culture is challenging due to HR’s favouritism. Morale has really declined over the past 18 months. Feels very disjointed with departments working a silos. 

It's a passable job with decent pay if you block out all the glaring issues. If there's a problem to raise they will ignore you, there's a clear wall between office workers and production even though they advertise a flat hierarchy. There is favouritism among alot of the managers, they aren't professional. If you force yourself to socialize and be the best of friends with them then you may be promoted regardless of skill. Managers have barely any connection to the team.

The work isn’t too hard  the people you work with are nice

They make you do stuff you shouldnt be doing and they majorly overwork the staff

the bosses can be extremely rude the big big boss was lovely

Busy busy busy work enriomemt

As a fast developing business the management structure is yet to keep up. Support is not structured and therefore lacking at times. A small business which has grown quickly means professionalisms have not been applied at all stages. 
There is opportunity to learn but this is limited by time constraints due to such wide remits, which will no doubt lessen as the business grows.

Marely Spoon is my first job in Melbourne. I love working in marley since the atmosphere of working conditions are exclusive. The most interesting thing about Marley Spoon, we are treated equally by our team leaders and Supervisors.

A toxic work environment. Suitable for students and those seeking to work Long hours in the ball-freezing cold.  Management is useless, deceptive and DO NOT CARE ABOUT ANYONE. You would find a better job on only fans.

The only thing that's good about this job is the different roles they give you every 2 hours. So it's not boring at all. 

But it was not a good work environment. The seniors are all coming from certain country and they are only being nice and fair to people from the same background.

The office used to have a good working atmosphere, but management quality and performance dropped off a cliff when the team sizes were reduced from mid to late 2023.
