This company most likely only exists to faciltate money laundering. Staff were expected to pay for products that we had to wear, of which every single shoe was horribly uncomfortable and ruined everyone’s feet. Casuals were expected to do all the work, and this company does not pay penalty rates for after 6pm (a legal requirement), even though staff at particular stores were forced to work till 10pm on weekends alone which was also a safety issue. Not to mention, because this company is so cheap they wouldn’t have more than one person overlap at a time most often, which made it impossible to take any meal breaks (once again, a legal requirement). 
Stores would be closed down and the staff wouldn’t even know until they arrived for work that day to be told that their store is gone. There was much pressure to reach personal budgets even if absolutely no customers walked in that day, and you’d get in trouble or get the worst shifts if you didn’t meet those targets despite the products being fake and poor quality. 

The Interviewing and hiring process is poor, where often employees who couldn’t properly speak English would be hired which made them hard to train. 
Some managers at some locations were nice and tried their best, but others were horrible for no good reason and would cancel shifts with no notice. 
This company’s very dodgy, shifty and unorganised 0/10 don’t recommend

I would only work here if I was desperate for a job and had no where else to go. Their management in both Sydney and Melbourne is a joke, worst management team I have ever had to work for. They threaten staff with termination more than they motivate them. They're big on negative motivation ie "If you do not make money this week you're out" 
 
The product is of very very very low quality. They outsource the cheapest shoes they can find on the whole seller market and then bump the prices up ridiculously. I'm sorry but who's going to pay $130 for non leather shoes? No normal person

They have zero integrity, they provide no support to staff members. Most if not all past staff members have their own horror story to provide. They are greedy, awful people to work for.

So again, if you're depsperate then sure, give it a go. If you have integrity and moral grounds, DO NOT WORK FOR THIS COMPANY.

Could not recommend a better company to work for. As staff members we were constantly motivated to meet the highest possible standards and ensure our time at work was an enjoyable one. The management team treat you like family and would go above and beyond to provide you with every ounce of support you require whilst constantly accommodating for all staffs needs. The atmosphere within the stores was energetic, exciting and each day posed new rapport that was built between staff members and customers. For those who enjoy retail, appreciate an amazing and approachable management team I highly recommend Marco Gianni to work for.

Store walk-through,Visual-Merchandising, Cleaning of store and back-room, customer orders, IBT'S, organising rosters, updating spreadsheet etc.
Friendly, out-going people who made everyday positive and productive. Great management, very organised.
Our systems were older so we had to think pretty quickly, this made us become more organised, efficient with time and made us work harder and smarter. For a retail store we learnt a lot about Microsoft programs and have great abilities in using those.

Really cool place to work but management is definitely not up to scratch.
They only care about making money and there is no concern for employees well being. There is absolutely no professionalism within the company and are very lax when running the business, but will definitely threaten employees with termination rather than encourage and motivate. Might work well for others when working here would only advise to watch out for management.

Firstly - make sure you sign a contract.  Or they withhold pay!! 
Worst place to work - money hungry - no structure - accuses everyone of theft with no proof. 
Fair tradings best friend. Low quality shoes with expensive prices - all made in china! No refund policy - loosing integrity of customers who deserve

Love the team but you get absolutely no respect from upper management.

A typical day at Marco Gianni involved content re-stocking of shelves and ensuring the display and VM were up to date on a daily basis. At the same time constantly up-selling and greeting every customer that walks through the door.

Marco Gianni is a great company to be part of, it offers work life balance and a secured job security. The management is very supportive and has a brilliant job culture.

A typical day at work involved reached store and overall person budget which was very enjoyable. I learnt how to expand my retail skills.
