Lord of the Fries

Constantly understaffed, which resulted in immense stress. Minimal training while expecting perfection. The other staff were cool but there were multiple issues with management and scheduling, ie, repeatedly being asked to work days you had asked off weeks prior.

Would get information from staff, and reprimanded by the boss for following the staffs information. 
From my first day I was being told I wasn't moving fast enough, despite having never worked in a fast food location before. While this improved, being constantly told that you're not good enough when you haven't even been with the company a week isn't acceptable.

Other staff were cool at least.

This place is the worst job you could apply for, manager doesn't care he just sits outside the store all day on his phone or eating food while it's busy inside the store. There's no diversity either, they will only make people from their culture the leaders and managers despite whether they do a good job or not at leadership roles. They also make us work in 40 degree heat doing 6-8 hour shifts with no air con in the store while having to work next to fryers, toasters and grills at the same time. Unacceptable workplace. Can't wait until my last day there finally arrives.

The flexible availability was really good and allowed me to change my availability on a regular basis. However we always seemed to be understaffed and I was often left to do multiple tasks by myself while it was very busy. We were often overstaffed when we didn't need to be and were understaffed when we needed more people. Also working in the city meant you could get some 'interesting' customers sometimes.

The hours are minimal along with minimal pay, a lot favouritism in the workplace.

A benefit is getting free meals during breaks.

Communication between managers aren’t as strong, a lot of ignoring and unclear messages when you actually DO get a response. 

I would recommend only applying if it’s your first job, but you’re better off looking for someplace else if you have rent/bills to pay. 

Overall good workplace culture to work in.Working at lord of the fries gave me a good understanding and importance of customer service, working in a group with team members, handling cash (on regular basis) and calculating the till manually, building burgers and multiple food products, working effectively under pressure and working effectively with new team members.

Super stressful and underpaid, was working casually and being paid part-time rates. The managers would talk down on you when you're a trainee, and were very passive aggressive. Only redeeming thing was working with the team. Got lots of work injuries including burns and cuts.

Lord of the Fries is very fast expanding company in busy places of Melbourne. It has a very comfortable work environment with employees from different cultures and ethnicity.  Management is though as not as responsive as it should be.

Lord Of The Fries was a fun and joyful workplace filled with great working staff. I found lord of the fries to always be kept clean and presentable i am thankful for the opportunities an experience that lord of the fries opened up for me.

At lord of the fries i have learned about management. workplace culture was very nice and every colleague was very helpful. there is no hardest part of job but sometimes it was very hectic to manage job with studies.
and most enjoyable part was handling customer.

Working at Lord of the Fries is chill because the people are awesome, and the vibe is super friendly. The job can get hectic, but the team makes it fun. The only downside? The pay sucks, so it’s not great if you’re after good money. If you’re cool with that, it’s a pretty decent place to work.
