Open cafe, prepare food which includes preparing salads, slicing of produce, salads and making of sandwiches for sale and functions. Fill display windows, operation and cleaning of coffee machines, preparing pizza bases and toppings for pizza's. Serving breakfast,cooking of fast food and making pizzas. Ordering food (in house) for daily needs, ordering cakes for the week. Supervising staff and allocating positions for the day, preparing and serving room service for the Hotel. Closing of the till and entering dailing functioning of cafe to Risk Managent.

I was an all rounder at the Liverpool Catholic Club, I learned a lot of things however most of it was self directed or, i had to push very hard to learn new skills.

The hardest part about the job was approaching management with ideas, as they generally brushed them off or didn't give you the time of day. 

The most enjoyable part of the job was that there was always something to do, and the variety of tasks made the monotony of some jobs not apparent at the LCC. 

Working with the staff at LCC was very good, the people were nice and always co-operative, and the shift supervisors were fantastic and very resonable and accomodating.

Usually busy. I wouldn't suggest working here to anyone unless you like to work hard and get no reward or thanks for staying back up to 4 hours...... It is a making place. It shouldn't be called a Catholic club....Majority of staff (basically everyone) is put as casual, meaning they don't have to pay you sick or holiday leave.

The staff at the Liverpool Catholic Club are all work and study orientated.  There are a large number of young personal that are studying at university and us the club to facilitate a life style of working at night and studying by day.  The club provides free meals during a shift, which assists all staff to ensure they are adequately nourished and to ensure no monies are used and exchanged by staff.

Worked in this job for 13 years plus, great staff and fun place loved my job, always enjoyed going to work just the extended hours were implemented and after working odd hours for so many years became to wear its toll. All in all a lovely place to work.

I did enjoy working at LCC ( Liverpool Catholic Club ) but some staff / managers are not the best to communicate with. 

Once they found out you had a boyfriend / girlfriend, they put you on all the night shifts, then complain that you were not available during the day. 

If you weren't part of a clique you were left out of a lot of things, Wasn't a very happy work environment.

I was hoping to gain employment as I had only done work experience while I was doing a Bar & Table Service Course at Liverpool TAFE. I ended up getting a job at Fairfield RSL. I enjoyed the bar work more than the kitchen work.

Training needs to be excel more or focused

Great environment  easy to get to fun to work laughs alround no ones judges you for the work you do $20 a day for food excellent bosses they spend to to help you in anyway they can plenty of understanding if you need anything from them they are there to help .

a good place to work for those studying or needing part time work. Only con is the long hours at night. But allows employee's to gain experience in multiple areas of hospitality.
