Each day had a new challenge whether that be driven by the customer or the business which made each day different.
Customer engagement and understanding their business and needs as well as providing industry expertise and solutions is priority to develop and maintain strong relationships and business partnerships which in turn grows sales and profit.
Laminex management overall were good and supportive with a vision of continuous development and improvement of its people and to manufacture and supply quality products.
External management made some parts difficult.
Culture within the SA team was tight and everyone worked together to achieve best possible outcome and results for both the business and the customer.
The ongoing change of direction and focus driven by external management.
People engagement be it work colleagues, customers or other.

On a typical day, I would  correspond with customers either by phone or email, check inventory and place orders where necessary, liaise with suppliers and contractors. 
During this roll, I have gained experience in Microsoft excel, outlook, word and powerpoint (although I did not use powerpoint often). 
I also learned the manufacturing process - to make sure the contractor had correct material and quanties for production of merchandise.
The hardest part of the job was keeping track of all orders and deliveries to ensure the merchandise is completed and boooked into the system in a timely fashion. 
One of the most enjoyable parts of the job was developing a friendly relationship with customers, suppliers and contractors.
Staff at Laminex are friendly, and happy to help when asked.

Pros:
- People are friendly you work beside.
- Doing the work on your own.
- Experience.
Cons:
-Poor management. Went through 4 supervisors in under 6 months.
-Unless your a favourite, higher management doesn’t care your just a number.
- Communication with supervisor is a hit and miss if they get back to you.
- Early travel/work times for no real benefits.
- Dont get paid if you need to take leave during the peak terms as it’s apparently in the contract and have to plan your personal events around their schedule.
- Never any staff to cover you if your sick & then make you feel bad because you didn’t work. 

As a driver you check your load strap the boards down for delivery. As a forklift operator replenish the stock into the racks for picking and pick the product for the next customer delivery pallets.The management is supportive of the staff. Work place culture was great working as a team. The hardest part of the job was ensuring your load was secure for delivery,Also when picking 3600x2400 board from the top shelf is a bit daunting. I enjoyed my experience working there.

Very busy inbound call centre and take calls from Australia wide has a large turnover of staff as it is high stressed work environment and management are only focused on sales $$$, not their staff's workloads. Around on average upto 10 staff away as they don't want to be there:  8.5hrs per day x 5 days per week with NO RDO's  each person earns different amounts of salary

Administer 200+ consignments per day
Coordinate truck fleet & forklift maintenance
Fatigue management of drivers
Planing truck routes taking into account all road hazards
The most enjoyable part of the job was liaising with the customers
Ensure all Workplace Health & Safety requirements are in place
We all worked as a team

Picking packing, forklift driving learning and unloading trucks. Shrink wrapping pallets and stock control, pack delivery for public walk ins and company orders for the week with great outstanding team of workers 

A typical day was calling on Customers and that was ok.
I learnt that there was to much managment that did nothing 
Culture was non existent
spending all your time on salesforce and not doing what i was employed to do 
Best past was Going home everyday

Management team not listening to staff.
Going ahead with ideas that have not and will not work
Morale at an all time low
Staff now suffering from depression

Good company to work for-very fast paced. Big focus on zero harm.
Unfortunately redundancy's happen quite frequently with this company.  More focussed o management rather than workers
