The benefit package is a very good deal, the people you work with are great, some of the team leaders and line managers are good but some tend to talk down to the workers and they have unrealistic targets which are not achievable within the time they give you as they want you to get all the work done but keep the hours down to keep costs of labour as low as they can, some weeks you get sent home early then others you are expected to do over 12 hour days so you cant plan your week as you never know what hours you will be working.

Having do do the job at speed and standing at all times.

Stressful and multi cultural not a good working environment.

Stressful, tiring, hot and hard work.

Kensey foods is not a bad place to work. The staff are what make it more worth while as you get to meet different cultures and meet a lot of different people. The work is good and shifts as we get weekend off. I'm currently a team leader at kensey foods and enjoy my job and team that I work with.

On a typical day most of the staff are unhappy and managment seem to be bearly competant on the whole and far less for many.

The staff can be very friendly, helpful and proactive. But they are often pushed to breaking point, keeping everyone highly tense and irritable.

The job was tough and hard work as well as stressful , however there was a friendly environment and helpful members of staff, willing to help each other.

Health and Safety rules were all in place and we all felt safe to work in such an environment.

Shifts are 12hrs long, with unpaid brakes, people seem to be ok, job not too hard but could get boring, especially if you work on the production line.

Lots of friendly people to work with. Various departments and a lot of choice where you want to work. downfall of that place is either working in very hot or very cold temperatures.

Sadly, due for closure at the end of July. 90 million turnover providing Chilled desserts for 2 customers. Part of the Samworth Brothers group. Employs approximately 650 people on site.

I enjoyed working in the Kensey food factory. I gained experience in quick and time pressured work. Kensey Foods is open to take new employees. I had a good experience in that company.

well it wasn't the best company to work for due to the fluctuating hours and different shift patterns and a constant change of management,but had some really good people working there
