Industrial Galvanizers

it was a good place to work i really enjoyed it. I learnt how to use power tools such as grinders, trolley jack, and the Galvanising Machine. as well as safety when using these tools and staying clear from forklifts and overhead cranes. the management was really good and my co-workers are really cool to be around with, the most enjoyable part of the day was getting to work. i really enjoy working long hours and we would work from 8 hours to 11 and a half hours and it changes on a daily basis.

Working at Industrial Galvanizers I learnt so much.  During my time there I was given the best opportunity to grow my skills in the reception and administration role I was in.  On most days of the week my co-worker and I were flooded with calls, customers and packages for the whole day,  but it was worth it when the week was over and we had done our job to the best standard.

The best thing would have to be the work colleagues out on the floor. The rest could be best described as a joke. From the so called training to the overall daily running of the place. They carry on about training yet there is no training at all. 
Which doesn't make the job any easier considering it's so boring in the first place.

Hot dip galvanizing, jigging of steel work, cleaning of steel work through caustic and hydraulic acid, dipping of steel work in molten zinc, forklift and gantry cranes, supervisor of afternoon and night shift tandem forklift and gantry lifts chemical spill training

Galvanising is an interesting industry, learning about different materials that work with zinc, and the different types of lacre that doesnt work with zinc.
being the recieving clerk it gave me the opportunity to see and experience working in each department  which made my job a whole lot easier and i was able to translate the orders in a simpler way for everyone.

This is a great place to work excellent group of people to work with , BUT , They have to obey the ups and downs of the building industry , in saying that if your a casual or with an employment agency you may not have regular employment.

great work place, a small crew that look after you, monthly BBQ, drinks for a hot day. but a lot of hard and fast work. job security is very poor as they have a new guy just about ever week, as a lot of people dont stay or last for a week. so you can find yourself not being properly trained and in a role where its your job to train someone to do the role.

Attendant is very important ,as well as the quality as per customer requirements, also safety is very important if follow company rules, help the company and they help you, work in pairs and help each other for the safety, and remember you're working for the company but not your friends

pretty hot working beside a hot oven ....
learnt a lot of new fork lift  skills and how u wire up steel onto a jig...
a very enjoyable work force and work mates ....
management was very good not to stricked 
most enjoyable part of the day was lunch

Good start and finish times,met some good blokes aswell awesome to work with.Great Supervisors and they always put something on every month for the workers.
