During my tenure at Inghams, I had the opportunity to work in warehouse distribution and weight labelling, where I gained valuable experience in FMCG. These experiences have taught me several essential skills, such as warehouse inventory management, team leadership, weight labelling systems, and supply chain production planning.

As part of my role in warehouse distribution, I gained experience managing inventory, coordinating with other departments, and ensuring the timely delivery of products to customers. This allowed me to develop my organizational skills and attention to detail while learning to manage a team of employees effectively.

Moreover, my experience with weight labelling systems provided me with a deep understanding of the production process and how to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. This experience enabled me to contribute to developing more efficient and effective processes for weight labelling, resulting in improved accuracy and faster turnaround times.

Working in this distribution centre has provided me an excellent platform to develop my skills and advance my career in FMCG. I have learned about production, warehouse distribution, and supply chain management. As a result, I am now well-equipped to take on new challenges and opportunities, both internally and externally.

However, there were challenges along the way, mainly when I had to deliver more than usual. This required long work hours, and balancing work and personal life was complicated. However, I learned to persevere and develop my time management skills, allowing me to deliver despite tight deadlines.







Ingham is a very healthy work environment, you are not only taught to be working as a team but also how to gain strength individually. A very organised roster for each worker and fair with breaks. A typical day at Inghams would be a great laugh and awesome company through diverse personals. Ive learnt so much from this particular job such as handling and knowing the safety with knives, the managers/Leaders/Trainers had given us clear examples and instruction to follow according to the works standards. Hardest part of the job would be coming back from eating too much lunch and having to work fast paced. The most enjoyable part was the good energy that the leadership team continued to provide with their good spirits and the modivation and patience to teach new employees.

What is the best part of working at the company?
You grow with the company, like myself from being one of the process worker from the production floor m, to QC, training officer and now doing both training and SfA officer. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Probably working with some people who doesn't put any effort on what they doing, and some people whos taking advantage of their position.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Work is good, but not always the best. manual work is not the problem, mainly it's the worker and who leads.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Busy but grateful  that i have a job i go to everyday

as a manager I was on call 24/7, life was good once I learned to live life as well as put in 100% to my position. I learned a great deal about people with an ever changing staff, mainly consisting of "back packers" and a constant of a couple of "locals". I loved being able to introduce persons to the art of all aspects of poultry farming, filtering my knowledge down through the lines and eventually giving some workers the opportunity to advancement. 22 years in this job working from the ground to becoming a supervisor for 12yrs then being promoted to manager for the last 8yrs before being made redundant has certainly enriched my life

Ingham is a great place to work. I enjoy working in Ingham. I become little bit upset when I was instructed to work in cold place, but it has gone away just after entering into the production floor. I have learned a lot of things over there, it is totally new experience for me. Now I understand how differently chicken can be decorated in dining table. I enjoy the behavior and instructing procedure of the management in Ingham. Co-workers are also good. However, I do not enjoy all day standing at workplace though I forget this because off working environment of Ingham.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Great company to work, every area have good and understanding  leading hand, it's a team inviorament, and there is always someone there to help out, I say go for it .

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Sometimes the work load is high volume, so you need to work fast


What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Just like anywhere is, you are asigned to a job,and just keep going till it's done, you are contenting  rotated.

Always flat out on the production line and organizing orders for the day and staff.I have learned a lot from starting on the process line then trainer then leading hand great experience.Most of the managers were good to get along with.There wasn't to many culture issues.Was getting orders out when machinery kept breaking down a bit frustrating.Was all the great people I worked with and great friends I made.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Good place to work. Good inviroment. Plenty hours. Good experience 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
It's very cold sometimes. And very noisy because of overhead line machine 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Invironment work is good. Muti culture

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Every day is the same  .we do the same work


I am constantly communicate with my work colleague as well as team leader and supervisors.

 When I communicate I am confident what I am discussing and always discuss with the knowledge and share my ideas. 

I am always friendly, helpful and co-operative with my entire work colleague. 

Most enjoyable part was give the production on time and meet the deadline. 



As a profession, Ingham is good place to learn about food production. Since I work in night shift, we didn't get paid for night shift plenty, Similarly, Nightshift didn't have enough manpower to operate despatch and palletising section.
