The work is pretty basic but they really don't care about their workers. The people, including the managers/supervisors, are petty and unprofessional individuals who cannot be trusted. If you report an issue they will not take it seriously and, instead, gossip about it.

The warehouse is filthy and disorganized, and has definitely never been cleaned. They talk about WHS but the whole place is a safety hazard. People have been electrocuted by faulty machine wires and the process lines are literally falling apart. There were often loose screws found on the ground, leaks that were never fixed, and hanging wires that workers would have to stick labels on to hold in place because, despite reporting these numerous times, nothing was ever done. Some of the food is mouldy but they'll tell you to use it anyway. 

You'll receive an estimated finishing time and could end up finishing up to 4 hours later than that, even if you've already worked 8 hours. I would never recommend this workplace to anyone, it's an absolute nightmare. If I could give this zero stars I would have.

This job really made my Australia experience! Struggling with the idea of making sales as a non native speaker, it turned out to be a job that you grow into and take a more advanced skillset back home for your future.
PLUS you can make lots of money  if you put enough work in.
You meet with your colleagues/friends (mostly backpackers) in the morning around 10.30-11am, have a little training in the office and leave after to work in different places in Australia. You will see places other travellers will never see..What I love most is the culture. Having beers after work with friends, Friday pub nights but also just really positive vibes.
Especially for backpackers they make it easy to take a little travel break and come back after. Just let your manager know in advance and you dont need to worry about a little holiday.

HelloFresh are really good to work for. Residential sales and event sales is really fun and rewarding. At first you have to get over rejection, but then you really learn new skills. It is such a good product to sell and exactly what I needed from an entry level sales role. Before I arrived in HelloFresh, I was told it used to be a commission only job with a different structure. The new structure, including the hourly pay and uncapped commissions on top is really good and they do lots of training to develop employees. The training isn't always sales based and they try and develop everyone in lots of different aspects, whilst keeping it casual. Overall if you put the effort in, with the uncapped commissions on top you can earn really good money. 


Having no previous experience in sales, I was nervous about this job. However, the brand is well known and the product becomes very easy to sell.

I worked on and off for 11 months at HF and travelled to QLD, NT, SA, NSW and heaps of cities and towns in Victoria. All these trips had travel and accomodation paid for, and I often went more than once to each place. 

It can be long days BUT it’s uncapped commission.  You can earn nearly twice as much as a usual backpacker, go travel for a few weeks and then return. Perfect setup for those wanting to make money in a couple of months, and still have your weekends free. 

Made some brilliant friends from my experience here which I will see again in Europe. 

100% recommend giving this job a fair shot for a couple of weeks :)

I had worked as a customer care agent for HelloFresh for around 1 1/2 years, and even though it was a stressful job (customers yelling at you over the phone, strict KPIs), I found the job ok until the new customer care manager started working there in 2017. The worst leadership I have ever experienced. An ice cold woman who apparently did not perceive us as human beings but rather robots. She introduced some very ridiculous rules, for example, you were not allowed to use the toilet unless it was your scheduled time to do so. Needless to say, I did not want to stay there any longer and quit. Once the new manager started, people started quitting weekly. Wonder how HelloFresh survives with that strategy...

I worked with HelloFresh throughout the lockdown and felt I was very supportive considering the challenging environment. Later in 2021 HelloFresh changed the structure of the sales teams providing a lot more flexibility, autonomy and control for me as an agent. I was offered a great hourly rate and uncapped monthly commissions which has allowed me to build up some personal savings after my years of travelling before the pandemic. I am looking to continue as a sales agent for the next few months and then I would possibly try to apply for another role within HelloFresh since they offer great opportunities to progress in the organisation.


I was working for hello fresh through a marketing company who still owe me around $600 and will refuse to give it to me. The days were really long and the pay wasn't great even when I was doing well for the company. I took the job on the assumption I would be getting paid hourly during my training weeks as had been made out in the interview. However, this was a false promise and when learning the ropes I was barely earning anything. They also had me training new members of staff from around my second week in the company but there was no benefit to this and this cost me wages as they were knocking on doors I was supposed to be speaking to and it was a commission only job.

The job is demanding and most times you are multitasking
Work environment is very unorganised  and the whole warehouse is a hazard, many improvements is required at the Sydney Warehouse. 
The company tends to let go of hardworking individuals who can make a positive difference to the company.

Management can not be trusted, confidential information actually goes out of the office into the warehouse. the very few good management sit quietly and mind their own business.

there is so many gossips in this company and they tend to recruit younger individuals cause younger people listen and do. 

If you are someone who love to speak up and care for others, do not work for this company.

Lovely people, but hard to make friends ect as you are never on the same shift. Casual hours are horrendous one time I had 5 hours in one week. Training is good but things change a lot and if you have a few days off could be hard to catch up. The kitchen was mostly full of fly's which was a bit sickening (them tinny fly's that come around your food)  Nice people though and pay was alright if you had the hours. Would not recommend for casual but I guess full time would be okay..
Not reliable or professional as I was told Via text about not coming back to work as there as no hours so they let me go.

I have worked for HelloFresh for a few years now and I have to say it is one of the most people-focused places I have ever worked. There are constant reviews to ensure employees are well looked after and continuing on with their professional development. HelloFresh is a place that moves quickly and you cannot be shy of hard work but the rewards that come from that hard work are definitely worth it. I have recommended many people to work at HelloFresh.
