Initial interview was for a traffic control position which they told me they were in desperate need of in my particular area..  Both victoria and nsw... Had 3 days work traffic control and on e day gardening  in victoria and no work in nsw  over a twelve month period despite calling into the wodonga office numerous times to see what was going on with hours of work ...   Theese people promise you the world and deliver all but nothing...  Not sure if its a look how many people we have employed  mr government  or they genuinely  like stuffing people around... Do not recommend any one apply for any position in this company

This was a while ago, back when GAME existed, the management I had was awesome but the staff in the area were mostly bad. It was a decent place to work as I love gaming, but apart from that, it was pretty much a job. Which I hate to say, because it was a job I'd always wanted, but after working at EB Games, this was not a better transfer(but I moved house and had to change jobs etc)

Eventhough I only was a Christmas Temp, I felt so welcomed into the GAME family. Uniform was casual and not strict. Piercings and Tattoos were allowed which is so refreshing!
Pay was minimum but the staff discount on everything definitely made up for it.
Overall, I didn't want my contract to end as i was excited to go to work for once!


Pressure for targets that can be unrealistic. Same tasks, then two days later redoing the tasks because head office changes their mind. The store staff are ok it's mainly anything above store manager where it goes down hill.

Game N1 City is a very unproductive workplace.You never get opportunities for higher positions you stay on the same level.T hey aim to please customers and not the situations in they own work environment.

It was enjoyable working at game its agood company and staff together with management were knowing their story they creative and active when there's big promotions and it helped me grow in the industry of this calibre

due to the time of year, work was very hectic. 

management at the time seemed to be swamped and we did not see them very often.

not much work if you dont jump when they want you message comes night before so no time to organise life around work but not a really bad place to work

really great place to work enjoy it massively. Good team and good people. I really want to continue working here for as long as I can as I really enjoy it

Average. Great atmosphere but the sporadic hours made it hard to juggle university and work.
