On a typical work day, safety is always priority number one. I have learned to do my work safely and effectively with proper planning. My opinion about management is that, I might be moved to a new role so I need to be flexible. Management is strick but at the same time concerned about workers well being.  My co-workers behave in a professional manner at work thus making our work easy and effective. The hardest part of the job is meeting deadlines when time is limited. The enjoyable part of the job is learning new stuff and taking on new responsiblities.

To take over shift from the previous person on duty and to help them cash up.  Then to serve customers with a pleasant smile.
I learnt to serve customers, work with my colleagues in this industry.
Management was keen to allow me to train the other staff in doing their work with great enthusiasm.
My co-workers were friendly and because they know what was expected from them, we were a formidable team.
The hardest part of the job was to say goodbye to the next person who took over shift from me.
The most enjoyable part of the job was to start work in the morning.

Issuing permits to the maintenance group and running aloted area while maintaining a safe and clean environment.
Were given extensive training in all aspects of running the Plant.
Had respect for Management for their running of the plant with the tight budgets restraints.
Could not ask for a better bunch of guys throughout the 5 shifts.
Hardest part of the latter years with the company was the 12 hour night shifts.
Loading Oil tankers and LPG ships on the Jetty.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Organisation is world class in Safety and controls aspects.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
None.  Company standards meets World organisation standards 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
All is treated equally. Junior staff members point of view are taken into consideration.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Been able to know that someone is watching over you so you leave work the same way you started. Hurt free

i had a great time working at the company. the other employees were so easy to get along with i enjoyed working in a team.
I was able to start learning to do the cooking and coffee making. i had the privilege of being shown by the coffee representative how to make the best frothy milk for cappuccinos lattes etc.
i didn't really find any part of the job hard the bigger the rush the quicker the day went by. i enjoyed the fast pace that was the christmas rush.

A typical day would be issuing permits, doing plant surveillance to ensure  the area is safe for maintenance team to come and carry out their work. Also all equipment are operating at their required parameters. 

The hardest part of the job is working 12hr, however I enjoy my job  because I have a helpful and understandable workmates and supervisor.

Strong Safety culture, inclusive, respectful environment, access to IT Help Desk given new updates to programs rolled out constantly.  Stressful environment.

I had worked for XOM for over 15 years in the retail environment and would still be working there if they didn't choose to get out of retail : (

Management very realisitc, fair, cooperative and friendly at all levels.  Company has high integrity from the top down and cares for not only their employees but their customers and share-holders as well.

Would go back in an instant.
