Ed Harry

A typical day would involve: setting up for the daily promotions, refilling stock, dealing with customers and cleaning.
 During my time there I learned many skills that I am able to keep with me and use to further myself in my career. I learned how to push for sales; how to receive stock and transfer to other stores; how to deal with customers in all situations; how to present stock in the most appealing manner and how to set up a shop according to the visual merchandising index.
 It was very rewarding being told my customers that your service was more than exceptional and due to that customers will continue shopping there. Having my hard work being recognized and being rewarded for it. It was great to make budget during the week and receive bonus pay for it.

My Day at work was always challenging to the point where i learnt how to manage my time to suit my work load.
I learnt how to be kind to myself  because i had such supportive management that sales floor was main focus and tasks were there but customer service came first in our store yes tasks got done in a timely manner but i did learn how to prioritise tasks.
The hardest part of my job was to keep my staff inspired to reach there benchmarks its very repetitive with them but i loved the challenge.
The most enjoyable part of my job was the whole thing senior management were unreal very supportive even other managers were helpful love ed harry.

This company has given me the chance to move up the ladder to a Management position, and is a great place to work. The staff are, generally, great people and willing to help when and where they can. Some customers can be rude...but you just  have to continue smiling and giving them great service. Having a customer come in and tell you that the person they were buying for loved what you helped to choose, and it fit, is the best part of the role.

A typical day at work involved everything from assisting customers to dusting shelves. A small team meant all aspects of the business were covered, visual merchandising, stock receiving, store figures and much more. I was lucky to have a very strong team around me. The hardest part of the job was the quiet times...I much prefer to be busy and some days were very quiet. The most enjoyable part of the job was the interaction with the customers

I really enjoyed working for Ed Harry Menswear. Managing a store on a daily basis was great with no two days the same .Customer service was a high priority. Achieving weekly,monthly targets & seasonal budgets, KPI's,staff training & rosters,merchandising,stock control,stocktakes,banking,reports etc..was both challenging & rewarding.The most enjoyable part of the job were the customers.

OPENING OF SHOP I LEARNED TO STOCK TAKE SETTING UP
OF SALES INTAKE AND OUT TAKE OF STOCK.WORKED WELL WITH MANAGER AT TIMES I STEPPED IN FOR HER . I WORKED WELL WITH CO WORKERS THE HARDEST PART OF THE JOB WAS DEALING WITH THEFT, 
THE MOST ENJOYABLE PART OF MY JOB WAS MEETING PEOPLE AND SEEING HOW YOUR SALE WENT FOR THE DAY

Good customer, good environment, fun job, relaxed, staff discount is great. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The most enjoyable is seeing the product line Ed Harry brought out. Till today even though they are shut down, I still wear their clothes as its very good quality material and told all my customers, friends and peers that.

Loved being a part of a company that took the time to educate me on their products and their system. love being involved with staff that are accepting and friendly towards new staff.
