I was a loyal employee of this company for 7 years and they made it very clear that they only care about not losing out on sales when they would rather keep a dodgy, incapable manager that has been around for 5 minutes rather than listen to serious claims made by me and other employees.
Despite being reassured that issues were being taken ‘seriously’ and would be addressed absolutely nothing was done about wrongful workplace behaviour from management.  

Positive” work environments can be defined as those workplaces where there is trust, cooperation, safety, risk-taking support, accountability, and equity.

There are some abstract concepts when thinking about a positive work environment.  You want to strive for shared purpose, values, and trust.  However, there are practical ways you can start building a positive work environment immediately. Below are some concepts to consider and implement into your workplace.

I think Dotti is an awesome company;
I learnt a lot about customer service/connection as an important factor in the company
I was able to progress into different roles
Every girl i met was very lovely and friendly, so naturally i made a lot of friends
The hardest part of the job is multitasking, there's always so much to do in the short 8 hours of the day
The most enjoyable part of the job was being able to style customers

The culture within the store itself was great, so many friendships made! But higher up management is horrible. They belittle their workers and offer little to no support at all. Pay is nothing in comparison to the work you’re doing and the attitude you get from regional managers. Pretty much every regional manager I dealt with spoke down to me and were condescending and rude. 

I’ve worked for the Just Group for 5 years now.

The Regional Management Team and Head office have been an absolute pleasure to work with at Dotti!

Mental Health is always important to the team and you’re not made to feel horrible if you’re not coping.

Everyday was different and was a fun place to go to every day. was given every opportunity to show what i was capable of. i enjoyed going into work everyday. Manager was lovely person and got on really well with. Great place to work

Will cut hours, high staff turnover , no job satisfaction ,
High expectations with not enough hours to complete.
No incentives will cut people’s hours so they have to look for another job.

Loved working here the managers treat all of the staff well and are very accommodating to everyone's schedule in between Uni or secondary jobs. my only complaint was that I was paid $15 an hour as a part time 18 year old when minimum wage at the time was $21.

The job and the tasks are fine. It really depends on the team you have and the manager. The higher up bosses aren’t very supportive and just want you to stay to keep an employer. They only have one person on for the whole day except your lunch break which is difficult. 

Upper management is extreamly poor, your worked to the bone, and expected to do everything on limited amount of hours with absolutely no help from anyone.
