A typical work day is dealing with a lot of customers and making sure they leave with everything they came in looking for.
Making sure that all stock is put out and you leave the workplace clean and tidy after every shift.
The most enjoyable part of this job is getting new stock and creating displays, moving the shop around to make everything look the best that it can.

The worst part of this job is that the hours haven't always been reliable. Also the roster is usually given on the Sunday leaving no time to plan anything throughout the week, which means literally planning your life around work.

I will go to work sign on and organise the lunch breaks for staff working that day, ask store manager what he wants done and I do it. 
I learned that you can't always get the position you want. 
The hardest part of the job is going back to another discount store and only getting casual work as opposed to my last discount store I was a 2ic assistant manager. The most enjoyable part is working with the staff they are all a great bunch of people who can multi task have fun and chit chat but still get the job done.

I loved working at Dollar tree. It was so laid back but things still got done on time. There’s no one breathing down your neck, rushing you to finish something way earlier just to get you more work that they rush you on again (speaking of Walgreens..) My team really cared about me. They bought me snacks gave me rides home even paid for my phone bill bc they wanted to make sure they could contact me. I would go back in a heartbeat 💓 

My day begins at 8.30 in the morning, I learn a lot from my customers, the hardest part of my job is when i have to deal with a customer who wants to pick a fight with me.
The most enjoyable part of my day is when we receive stock and we have to put it out, i love that, I love being a Manager and being able to help customers and also helping my staff.

While working for dollar tree i had so much fun serving customers making diaplays out of wool and boxes and cleaning amd refilling produce i would take my job back anytime

Definitely get busy if theres not enough staff but overall pretty easy when you get down to it, everything, however, is done very old fashioned so you will need to get used to it 

Great first time job for a student. The management and staff were professional and the shifts were flexible to fit with school hours. The work environment was stress free and fun.

i really enjoy organising so i went to town on both locations. great culture of hard work but also fun and staff chills after work!

Easy going but some times fast paced and fairly enjoyable work place with friendly staff members, best part is receiving so much different stock.

stressful work that should be very easy. pay is not very good for what you have to endure
