A busy and fast paced restaurant if work here you'll feel have a small family especially when you work in the front kitchen. What I've learned from here is how to fold dumplings and it not easy also the hardest part of this job is you require to control your power while rolling the skin of the dumpling. The management of this restaurant is not professional at all.

Din Tai Fung is a busy shop, I always work at fast pace but I didn't feel to stressful because my co workers are friendly, considerate. When I feel down, or tired, they will cheer me up and help me in work. I learned a lot at this shop such as making dumpling, how to cook. The hardest part in job is first time making dumpling. The enjoyable part of job is we can joke and laugh when the shop is not busy

I worked at Din Tai Fung Chatswood and they didnt pay me until this date, tried to contact them but nothing happened. The working environment wasnt great as most of them were from my home country, Indonesia so i understood what they were talking about, and surprisingly some of the girls were talking about other employees (including me) behind their backs

My day at work is making dumpling and managing staffs ensure the team works well. I have learned a lot in Din Tai Fung such as teamwork, managing people and managing time, solving problems, working under pressure, kitchen skill. In Din Tai Fung, we are more than a place to work, but a big family working together to provide a professional service.

working from morning until night. i learned how to cook/steam the dumpling and how to make a dumpling and how to serve the customer . most of people who works in there is indonesian people so its quite enjoyable for me because i can also speak indonesian

Every day was a busy day and it challenged me to work efficiently as a head chef in the back kitchen. Being the head chef means a big responsibility to make sure everything is under control, like managing people, order and restock ingredients from supplier.

I was able to learn to communicate well in a hard situations (peak hours). This job really encourage me to get out of my comfort zone. The staffs are kind and friendly. The hardest part of the job was when you have to clean the kitchen when business hours is over.

You will meet a lot of people there. You will gain basic knowledge and skills of hospitality and have your first formal working experience - good to try. Good luck.
