Decipha

Decipha employed me off site from the main Adelaide HQ in the mailrooms of the Adelaide Taxation Office and latterly the mailroom of BankSA HQ in King William St, as a consequence of these deployments I had very little contact with management and the management team barely knew me. I actually enjoyed my work but having said that Decipha was an aloof and somewhat ghostly employer. As flattering as it was to be held responsible enough to work in off site mail rooms I felt my employer was just a name that adorned  my pay slip. A typical day at work was to pick up the mail from  the courier in the morning and spend a couple of hours sorting it out before delivering it to the recipients located all over the buildings over many floors. Picking up mail throughout the day, taking in  more ad hoc deliveries and dispatching all the outgoing mail at the end of the day  to the  various branches and public customers. The hardest part of the jobs were trying to discern just who various items of mail were to be delivered to when for instance an item was addressed to simply 'BankSA".

A company of Aust Post,  Decipha is a inbound data management and mail solutions company. As the NSW State Ops manager I'm reposnsible for 17 locations, and over 110 staff. Our clients are a mix of government and blue chip corporates. A high volume, processing environment with very stringent and varied SLA's my role is to ensure we exceed our KPI's and to maintain a culture that is very customer focussed. A typical day will involve engagement with my direct reports, metings with customers, and our sales teams and product specialists. I am heavily involved in client presentations and RFP's. I am responsible for the operating budget of approx 12million p.a with which include financial targets, service delivery KPI's, cost savings and efficiency targets. 

Most enjoyable part of the job is receiving great feedback from customers when my teams exceed service expectations.

Well, As far as this job is concerned. I am very happy with my team mates and the supervisor of the team and also the surrounding staff. Everyone is helpful to each other.
We have the deadlines to meet at a certain time and together as a team we do achieve them.
Management side of the company is good as the duties are divided among each person and they are well aware of there responsibilities.Culture of the company is friendly and helpful and basically its a team building.
I don't see an hard part related to the job but only the working hours which is getting difficult by the time. 
The most enjoyable part of the job is that as a team we celebrate different occasions with each other and bring different foods which shows the unity and multiculturalism together.

During my time working for Decipha as a mailroom assistant it was an esstienal requirement to work as part of a team as we were sorting through mail and so we were required to ensure that the right mail was placed in the right order through communication and interaction with other colleagues.
The most enjoyable part of the job was being part of the team. They were a pleasure to work with.
I learned to work hard and cooperate with others to finish our designated tasks by the end of the day.

I learned a lot in Decipha like sorting, scanning and a lot more. The management are very nice to their staff, you can easily asked for help when you needed them. Co-workers are easy to worked with, very approachable especially to the new staff. The hardest part is when the job is nearly finish and you lose some of your working hours. And the most enjoyable part of the job is when the whole staff are eating together celebrating special occasions.

I really enjoyed working with a variety of people, from different cultures and ages. 
The work was interesting. 
The management were very flexible and accomodating, they listened and considered suggestions made, and I appreciated the open door policy to the Boss.

Management are bullies & do not care about staff wellbeing.
Management do not take an interest in thier staff development. 
Alot of politics & hostile environment due to poor management

I have enjoyed working for Decipha. Work colleagues and Management are friendly and enjoyable to work with. I have worked autonomously and also as a team member.  Ive enjoyed troubleshooting and learning in all aspects of the job.
