Hardest part of the job was the unexpected breakdowns in being able to get the plant up and running with minimal downtime, but I believe we succeeded at al times.
Most enjoyable part was the diverse works I had participated in, ie Crusher rebuilds, loader operating, excavator operator, plant operator, train loading, Fault finding. Researching better electrical products for the plant, and working along side mechanical, boilermakers, and management.

New management could have been more supportive, was not offered any new courses to improve my skills.

It was an enjoyable place of work, I worked with a good crew that supported me and each other.  There was lots of opportunities to advance through learning about operating different machinery.  The management were very supportive and I felt like a valued team member.  the company ensured there was a high standard of health and safety.  They had a solid knowledge of the mining industry procedures which promoted work safety for myself and all the staff.  The accommodation and camp site was very suitable and homely which helped make the stay there more relaxing.  Cultural awareness was promoted with all staff, this was very settling as a non indigenous worker.

The company had a culture which consisted of boots on the ground and I found that having a presence in the field helped to build a good safety culture. Co-workers found it good to see the presence of the advisors in the field and the attitude to safety on the shop floor bettered over time. The most enjoyable thing about the job was working with a number different people and the challenge to get them all on the same page with safety in mind for each and every task.

I enjoy working for CSI. We were running, building and setting up a fixed. We had busy days and not so busy days. They book you in when you need training or when your tickets start to run out. Supervision team looked after the work force and was always friendly. Everyone in the team would help each other without any problems. The only time when it start to get challenging is when your work mate was off sick and you had to fix a break down alone.

Operation of tele handler and forklifts, also flatbed and skip bin trucks. Relocating of stock from laydown areas to different areas on site. Loading and unloading of trucks, escorting trucks to site. Driving coach and 22 seater busses. Trades assistant to riggers and operation of different machines as required. Confined space work while adhering to all site safety requirements

Workday average, very repetitive and mundane.
Learnt only what was applicable to the role.
Management for that area horrible person.
Workplace culture nothing exciting.
Hardest part was dealing with management.
Most enjoyable was the new friends I made.

Loved the ability to work in a excellent team environment that included the maintenance dept and operations. Being a new pilot operation to get as much product as possible to be shipped required a lot of trial and error providing a challenge that I loved.

I really enjoyed my time with Crushing Services, Great variety
of jobs from operating plant and equipment to crushing the daily Iron Ore targets. Hardest part of the job is dealing with the heart break of plant breakdowns to having a successful day when everything just runs smoothly. Total job satisfaction.

did a lot of fifo kept me busy enjoyed watching our work pull together the site, got my franna tictet for 25tonne crane, basic dogging and rigging.
