I joined Credo in 2024 with the expectation of a casual role offering full-time hours. Unfortunately, my experience has been quite different. Over the course of two months, I only worked 18 days, with some weeks having no shifts and others offering just one or two shifts. This lack of stability is exacerbated by the fact that most of my shifts are night shifts. When I raised concerns about the inconsistency in shifts, I was simply told that the role is casual, which contradicted what I was led to believe before signing up.

Having a background as a project manager in the construction industry, I have noticed significant shortcomings in Credo's project management. There have been instances of ordering incorrect materials or incorrect quantities, which inevitably delays projects.

If Credo does not implement a major overhaul in its project management and operational practices, I am skeptical about its longevity in the industry. The potential for success is there, but substantial improvements are necessary.

I've worked at this company as general hand for over a year as my second casual job. It's a decent option for getting some extra hours, averaging 8-10 hours a week. However, it's not reliable as a sole source of income due to the inconsistency of shifts. The only way to get consistent shifts is to have a friend or family member among those assigning them. Being a good worker, reliable, punctual, and proactive doesn’t guarantee more hours. Consequently, you see many new faces frequently as people get frustrated and leave. If you don’t have good internal connections, you’ll likely end up with the worst shifts, far away, and very few hours. Also is very common the last-minute shift cancellations by the company.

6 months into a support function role at head office I can say that the people are what make Credo great.  Every person has been approachable and supportive.  There is flexibility with how and where head office roles are fulfilled - e.g work from home and onsite mix.  Leaders and team members are open to new ideas, and improving the workplace which is refreshing.

I have worked at Credo for over 7 years and love the team i work with i started as a labourer with Credo and worked my way up to a General Hand then an Installer then a lead installer then state manager and now i am the national strategic projects manager for Credo.  If your willing to put in the work you will be recognised and rewarded we are not a big corporate and care about our team. 

Night shift most times rarely do dayshift 

Hours commence between the hours of 
9pm to 7am Sunday -Thurs
Conditions are always clean 
Clean Good facilties
Friendly enviroment to work in.
Casual work 
Work is inconsistent if your a casual 4 weeks off in xmas had 6 weeks off in Easter 



It’s a casual role with shifts offered only days (sometimes hours) prior to start time. Some shifts are then cancelled unexpectedly hours prior to scheduled start time. This leads to a competitive work culture, frustration, and uncertainty. It’s very hard to support yourself and/or a family with this.
A number of ‘clicks’ also exist, which means shifts are often offered based on personality rather than on ability.

Nepotistic management and office employees call family and friends in the first instance for work.
Travel is paid at after 100km from the office radius.
I would not recommend this employer if you have rent and bills to pay.

great place to work got to see all of nsw . money was good and management was really really professional. when contract was over very little notice for eg; 1 day

Great working with the team and the work life balance is really good. 
Working with the different states is also interesting and a good learning experience.
