Decent hourly rate, salary sacrifice and lease options are really good. Understanding about family needs.

Working under pressure with very little staffing, equality within the workplace.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Mostly very friendly and accepting, however toxic people are enabled and not always delt with appropriately. There is still an underlying bullying culture and this is really unfortunate as the job itself and the team spirit can be very rewarding and satisfying.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Mostly busy and rewarding. When you get good professional Allied Health Staff, you can get a great feel for your position and feel valued in your role. Patients are usually lovely and do want to connect in activities that will enhance their stay and future once returning home. Helping a person who is in need is an honor and a privilege. Lots of chances to learn from good people who are willing to share their knowledge. EMR is an easy, informative system to navigate. There are alsways extra training modules available for you to access.

I have the utmost respect , admiration and loyalty for my colleagues and working environment whilst being employed at this company 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
It can be very stressful at times but without the people I  closely work with because we all experience the same stress but deal with it separately , I think I would have resigned 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The work environment can be stressful but also enjoyable and if you can except the different culture within the company you can stay in the company for many years

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
A typical day can be  hectic, with highs and lows , demanding and very busy 
I will always find a positive out of negatives but overall I like my job very much

Progressive  modern management

Orientation is  not adequate enough takes quite sometime to fully realise contacts/ networks etc  within LHD  

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Supportiveness,   fair processes, mostly good experience working there 👍 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Meetings, case reviews , Client appointments and treatment ,Liasing with Doctors other stakeholders, report writing

Expectations of care far outstrip what is physically possible to provide. If not redeployed to be flogged in an understaffed hospital, then unit itself is short staffed and unsafe.
 Many colleagues disengaged and already silently quit, nil repercussions for lazy teammates leading to intense burn out for the caring, usually the newer ones. Glad I got out.

Nice hospital, wanting to help the community and provide good health care, hoping for a productive outcome. This hospital is a growing hospital, population is expanding and hospital requires to expand with the growing area

I enjoyed working as a ward clerk.  I found it had its challenging days which I like to be challenged.  The staff and support was great.  The hardest part of the job was when a patient had passed away and doing the paperwork on discharge for them.  The most enjoyable part of the job was meeting new people and making new friends.

Working at Central Coast Local Health District (CCLHD) has been an incredibly rewarding experience. As an employer, CCLHD fosters a supportive, inclusive, and professional work environment where employees feel valued and empowered to make a real difference.

I felt very valued in my time at CCLHD and really enjoyed my time there. I worked among a very supportive team and received amazing help and training. 

Fast paced, development opportunities and a team culture. Approachable management. Caring environment, Challenging personalities are occasionally difficult to please.

Great learning expreience. Professional environement with highly motivated work coleagues. Great location. Supportive senior staff. Difficult to obtain permanent work.
