A typical day at work involves putting on your happy face and making a difference.
 
In a typical day there are 9 different shifts of which i am trained to 7... No day is ever the same. The many shifts have different duties keeping it interesting from one day to the next. 

My co-workers are mostly fantastic and make it a fun place to work for the most part.
 
The hardest part of my job is the heat, it gets very warm in the kitchen.. Evenings and weekends are also hard as i don't get to spend a great deal of time with my family. Having a child with Autism and a husband that works in Sydney, i struggle with this greatly.

The most enjoyable parts of my job is knowing you're making a difference to the elderly. I love the interaction with the residents.. I am also very lucky to have great co-worker. Working in this involvement can sometimes be quite sad so having co-workers that you can have a laugh with makes all the difference.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Meeting new people and making friends with the age care residents. Lunch breaks and home time always a bonus. Working with the elderly people and having supportive people around you really helps when you are feeling down at work.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Management is the worst part always nit picking and always acting so fake towards their workers

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
It's good if you have the right people around you, it makes it alot easier

You have your hard and easy days

Management was rude & demanding of impossible tasks with limited hrs ! Duties to shifts were more & more with no extra time allowed ! Staff are employed with no food handling skills , which lead to very poor food quality & being in Aged Care was quite disappointing & Mangement didn’t seem to care if unsafe work practices were happening ! Worst place I’d ever worked ! I complained about safety issues & then I was subjected being bullied on a regular basis which I finally left ! Stressed & on Anti depressants! Nothing nice to say at all ! 

What is the best part of working at the company?
Good hours started casual  the in 6 months was made part-time 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Mangers are very bossy put me off working there made my like crying 😢 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Sad made me feel depressed at work a bad working day 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Depression didn't like been told off 2 staff leave  a day

toxic workplace overworked underappreciated expected to do so much no compassion from your boss. It honestly was a joke working there the only positive side was hanging out with the lovely old people in the aged care Home.

They were under staffed right from the start not trained the owner and management staff of the facility were rude to everyone tired to pay me part-time pay rate when were told we would get casual the place was stressful the worst job I have ever had people were leaving all the time feel sorry for residents. 

What is the best part of working at the company?
I have good shift and they are correct with payments.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
So far I haven't had. The place where I work is very good.

The place where I work is very good and the people are kind.


Poor management. Understaffed. Apathetic towards their employees. All in , all very  poor working environment.
Horrible management. . No Care factor Will never go back! Six others had to leave under pressure. 


They expect way too much from their employees. We are very overworked, and very underpaid. I recently resigned from my job due to circumstances out of my control. Worst management ever. I used to like my job. By the time I left, I wasn't happy there. 

Area managers stretched too thin. Each branch needs to be delegated some kind of time, regardless of the condition of another, inorder to support the needs of each individual branch. Some require additional support but it shouldn't be at the expense of another.
