A typical day at work would include working behind the till, working in the shoes section of the store where I would fetch stock for customers and advise on size and style, general clean up and tidy of the store if its a slow day as well as manning the more expensive items held in a locked cabinet to be opened on a customer by customer basis.
I learned a great deal of skill in dealing with customer queries as well as how to remain productive and useful even when it appeared that there might not be any jobs to do, such as wiping down the counters or sweeping the floors or making stock look better arranged on the shelves. 
The hardest part of the job was dealing with frustrated or irate customers however over my time there I learnt how to diffuse situations and achieve the happiest outcome for all involved.
The most enjoyable part of the job was working with such a close-nit community of people who were always happy to help each other out should need be and make my time there a happy one.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Must work faster and faster followed the green lights, and if finished the order before home time because we worked fast, not only because business was quiet only, they asked to go home early, even worst,  not guarantee have shift everyday. Equipment like computer, scanner, printer or mouse often not working.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Some superiors were on the people side especially if from same country, even that person have bad attitude. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Busy work, not even 1-2 minutes can have rest.

1.start 7:00 am - 3:00 pm , meeting in the morning than start to pick and pack till finish all the order 
2.How to use scanner to find the product for each order and pack in variety and economical way to completely order make it nice , clean, safety.  
3. all manager are good problem solver 
4. 90% Indian 10% other nationality
5.when pick the international goods I always pretend that those are my purchase but other pay for me so that easy to keep energy till finish all the work. The other is see how warehouse work .

it is always same everyday. start at am and finish pm. Yes i have learn lots in my first job as forklift driver/opprator. There is many confusion in management because it is very big place so everybody want to place there own opinion. i believe if you are good and respect other then they will give you respect. Honestly i worked hard for everything so i never felt difficulties in any task or work. i love my work so i enjoy in any condition and in any situation.

The management is extremely atrocious, no leadership skills or personality in leading a creative team. Also has favoritism, like if you bake a cake for the boss then you are the favourite.. very unfair treatment to others. also HR is very bad as well.. they place gag order on issues they do not want to deal with, because they have no experience of how to handle sensitive contemporary issues. You get more respected as a staff or individual working in restaurants.

I have decent experience in production and manufacturing filed and another numerous industrial field
At present working with one distribution company (Catch of The Day April-2017) as a forklift driver, and I feel that it's time for new opportunity.

Stressful,I learnt never to get a job there , management is terrible ,workplace culture is very bad , the hardest part of the job is trusting anyone , nothing enjoyable . They are all liars . If you’re not related to another staff member then you will be treated like rubbish and gone in a few days . Very toxic workplace .

Its always challenging work at catch of the day. Our day was starting with lots of challenge. We were getting lots of deliveries there as well as containers. Some time we didn't had space to unload the containers. And same in the warehouse we don't have enough space for the containers. Its always fun when this kind of things happened at catch.

its provide a very good working environment, as a casual team member if its busy ofcourse I prefer to wok with catchoftheday. but there is no secure hours and permanent positions. If some one one looking for permanent positions this is not the right place. Any way its the number one online shopping company in Australia. As a team member I am really proud about that
