My co-workers were all excellent. Production and Manufacturing always willing to work together. I have learnt so much from this company. I started in Customer Service and progressed to Production. CHH are always willing to train their staff. A typical day at work is from 6.30am to approx 5.00pm sometimes longer. Comprising of scheduling, phone calls with internal and external stakeholders. Ordering paper. The hardest part of this job was machine breakdowns which meant, juggling orders around.

Unable to comment on a range of issues at this plant due to being employed as a contractor only.

Employees that undertook training and assessment were very keen to share ideas on how they could improve things at the Tumut facility.

Management were keen for their employees to complete their training so as to b ring new skills to the shop floor level, especially those that would enhance productivity improvements.

Meeting new people in a totally different manufacturing environment.

The company always has a good working relationship with their employees. Safety is paramount and good clean work area always. Machines are cleaned and painted as required. Maintenance of all machinery was always the best available. Even though I was on contract work I was treat with respect and as one of their own employees. My title there was Maintenance Fitter.

I joined at a time of change. Traditional culture and associated practices be transformed into more contemporary practices. Lots of tough decisions but the business had to change for it to be able to move forward.

Rotational Operator, including laboring jobs.  Enjoyed the mental and physical challenge of running a smooth and efficient production line.  Working night shift up to 52 hours a week. Supportive co-workers and leading hand  felt like a family.  Worked here while pregnant with my first child. We had one 20 min break for 8 hours of shift, which meant less unpaid hours at work.

I pack hot and cold cups, and run the KFC Bucket machine.
My co-workers are pleasant and helpful. I have learned all aspects of the packing machines and KFC Bucket machine. Management on the whole are very nice. Work has slowed down, so we are not getting as much work which is stressful, but the hours suit and it is close to home.

shift work operation's manual labour and mobile plant. i learned everything from the ground floor to hold a management postion. most of the managment team are or were great. had a good bunch of guy's on the shift and on site in general. making sure everyone goes home safely. being giving the oppurtunity to learn and grow as a employee.

great team environment it is a great place to work. have to be fit and remember safety always comes first. other workers are always lookout for each other.

As an supervisor in the sawmill my day would taken up by people management, keeping the mill on budget and making sure safety come first.  I would have to plan daily cut pattern to suit orders for the site and external orders.

I have learnt a lot of skills and experience, earn some certificates,
Made plenty of friends and been given a  lot of opportunities,
We're always encouraged to achieve zero injuries and work safely and achieve good productivity
