I worked at Carbridge for 4 years and since the company was taken over twice by aerocare then swissport  things have gotten worse. management is nonexistent and don't know anything about a bus drivers job,,nobody cares ,busses are not repaired and driven with defects, electric busses have issues with air pressure and charging and warning lights lighting up the dash boards,
not enough staff to cover shifts , staff don't speak English and are not trained in radio operations, customer service skills,defensive driving ,emergency procedures.staff are frustrated by poor management and rubbish busses.

Typical day 
Check which bus number your driving 
Pre departure check 
Start your shift 
Radio call your bus number and position 
Wait for a back up bus to be behind you before you stop at the designated stops pick up the passengers waiting in the car park and when you are at the boom gates makes radio call that you are leaving 
Reach domestic or international in 12 minutes and return and repeat 

I have worked for this company for several years. In that time I have had a good working relationship with my fellow employees and have a good relationship with the management.I work shift work which I love as I like time off during daylight hours. I have driven buses in Sydney London and now back in Perth I enjoy working with the public.
I like the work but as they company is quite small so are the wages this is one off the main reasons for seeking a job which might pay me more and have a bit more security

I worked there for four and a half years and I think it suits people in the older age bracket only because I think it could be a bit boring for the young people who have to sit around alot waiting on flights to come in. At times you can be very busy. But see for yourself how you handle the slow periods.

The issues with this company start from the top. miss management has led to extremely low staff moral. Not one driver wants to come to work on any given day. Vehicles are poorly maintained, shifts are short (3-4 hour shifts). The company is always short staffed, always not meeting contractual requirements. 

Having been a driver for this company i would highly recommend not working for this company.

i learnt good organisation skills
the management were always helpful
the workplace culture was respectful of peoples needs
the hardest part was getting used to planning on the go
but the most enjoyable aspect was meeting people from all over the world

Most enjoyable part is the driving and helping people from interstate or overseas as Perth airport terminals make no sense so can be confusing to people. 

BEWARE
 Worked 2 days as a casual 10th & 11th Jan '23 and as of today's date (30 Jan '23) I still haven't been paid. Excuses have been "should be Thursday" (it wasn't) and "you will be paid in due course"  and "if you want to go to Fair Work that is your right"
Pay is very low  

Management was attentive and sensitive to staff needs.

The work itself was enjoyable, and Brisbane Airport is a fun place to be.

Fast paced at times driving airport buses, moving passengers around. Interesting work if you like aviation. Long periods of idleness waiting on flights. Shifts are only 4 to 5 hours
