Very disappointed and disgusted at the level of toxic workplace behaviour, and lack of respect and integrity from leadership. Workplace bullying and unfair workplace practices is rife. Lots of staff are pushed out the door and replaced with unskilled workers. Senior management have been in their positions, after being promoted from within for far too long and are completely ineffective. Waste of taxpayer dollars on services and functions that are poorly managed for the community. Staff turn over is very high. Human Resource Development is an abomination.

Staff members are friendly and mostly local

Management is toxic, useless, from the top down, they have the worst Management reputation in local councils, only work there if you are local and have little drive or ambition

Toxic, lots of bullying and harassment which is covered up by HR

Helping management cover up their mistakes or reacting to issues they have created

Been able to speak to anyone in management with out feeling scared

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
I have not been stressed about working with the company.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Awesome, management coworkers and everyone within the company has a good culture

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Easy going and relaxed because of the culture around the company

The easiest thing about working there was getting to know everyone who was most friendly and kind in sharing some knowledge with newbies and anyone new that they come across. The difficult part is being on your feet constantly working hard doing multiple tasks. It is a safe environment. Waking up early in the morning was hard and finding your way in the building without a key card.

Great place to work, with professional and ethical staff. There is a wonderful culture of respect and support for all staff. The on-boarding process was very slow (3 months from the time I applied to the time I started work) but it was well worth the wait. 

Management is proactive, approachable, responsive and truly cares about its workers.

Campbelltown city council are a welcoming and inclusive of all workers. they provide you with excellent courses and are willing to put in extra time to ensure their workers are happy. Not many positions are vacant of substantial hours. Ladies that work here are amazing and caring workers.

Nothing beats watching a smile on a child's face when you enter the service. Educating and supporting children to grow to their fullest potential is the greatest feeling in the world. Doing this with a dedicated, motivated and fun team makes it even better.

Opportunities for advancement in administrative positions are not readily available. Administrative Assistants appear to remain in these roles until they retire.

Easy work, good for a break from the real world, would suit people needing a easy ride to retirement.
If you have drive it May be a place not to get ahead, unless your good at politics.
