Jian has a passion for technological innovation. Jian has been working in the healthcare industry for over ten years, including vendor engagement, clinical application support, data analysis, and quality assurance. Jian answered queries from clinicians and software vendors, trained software vendors on data integration, and certified the clinical applications (prescribing/dispensing/eMR/medicines reconciliation) before they went live, ensuring the information displayed and prescriptions printed are correct, conform to MIMS guidelines, PBS regulations without causing potential health risks to the patients.

In the past Jian worked as a business analyst in several pharmaceutical companies. Jian also worked at the operating theatre suites in Ryde Hospital, assisting the nurses and surgeons.

Jian holds Bachelor of medical science (honours in pharmacology). Jian is responsible and pays attention to details. Jian always plans ahead, and has a plan B for important tasks. He is interested in proactive positions and willing to meet deadlines and take responsibilities.

Everyday was a challenge as we were always given new and exciting projects to work on. A typical day usually involved team meetings and completing tasks. Managers were very supportive and provided great guidance and advise. The employees at CSC (CSC is now DXC Technology)  were very professional and supportive in team/social environments and also helpful with accomplishing tasks and delivering output.

It was a very fast-paced working environment therefore handling multiple projects was required, and frequent communication between team members and clients was vital for successful deliverables and outcomes.

The company provided various channels of communication (facebook, townhall meetings with the CEO, social events, internal communications etc.). DXC made it easy for employees to be in the loop of how the company was performing and what their next steps were.

Once again when I started the mail room had to be organised and update all filing. I had the opportunity to become involved in the printing. This was very rewarding as I had to process all printing requests and see the end product completed.
There were days when no assistance was available and I had to work out a priority as to work had to be completed.

Good people, flexible working conditions.  Worked on some really interesting accounts and projects.   Had the opportunity to travel, and work with some inspiring people.  Training opportunities are good.

More and more services are being exported, good opportunity if you are willing to work exceptionally hard for it at the expense of work/life balance

The CEO and Leadership Team always had time for you and your customers. The culture was one of Do what you need to do to get your job done. Work Hard and Play hard...But Play and Work Safe!

This is a large company with a small company mentality.

People have not had a raise for 5+ years.  Now it has joined with another company (erstwhile EDS) that has a similar culture and hence I left.

Like any enterprise the marginal profit must be secured however they are good providers and look after their staff. Now that has merged into DXC may be different I don't know.

I was not cut out for working in a managed service organisation. CSC, now DXC is no different to any other large organisation that leverages its employees to make a profit
